Go with God’s Word
Go with God’s Word
This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.
Thy word is true from the beginning:
And every one of thy righteous judgments endureth for ever.
For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life:
Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.
Every word of God is pure:
He is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.
NUN.
Thy word is a lamp unto my feet,
And a light unto my path.
I have sworn, and I will perform it,
That I will keep thy righteous judgments.
I am afflicted very much:
Quicken me, O Lord, according unto thy word.
Accept, I beseech thee, the freewill offerings of my mouth, O Lord,
And teach me thy judgments.
My soul is continually in my hand:
Yet do I not forget thy law.
The wicked have laid a snare for me:
Yet I erred not from thy precepts.
Thy testimonies have I taken as an heritage for ever:
For they are the rejoicing of my heart.
I have inclined mine heart to perform thy statutes
Alway, even unto the end.

Go with God
Go with God
Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.
I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
Thou art my hiding place; thou shalt preserve me from trouble;
Thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah.
A Psalm of David.
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures:
He leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul:
He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil: for thou art with me;
Thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies:
Thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life:
And I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.
Go with God’s People
Go with God’s People
Then Joshua commanded the officers of the people, saying, Pass through the host, and command the people, saying, Prepare you victuals; for within three days ye shall pass over this Jordan, to go in to possess the land, which the Lord your God giveth you to possess it.
Tell the people what is going on. When God leads the leader, he must get the people on board.
Josh 1:10-
And to the Reubenites, and to the Gadites, and to half the tribe of Manasseh, spake Joshua, saying, Remember the word which Moses the servant of the Lord commanded you, saying, The Lord your God hath given you rest, and hath given you this land. Your wives, your little ones, and your cattle, shall remain in the land which Moses gave you on this side Jordan; but ye shall pass before your brethren armed, all the mighty men of valour, and help them; until the Lord have given your brethren rest, as he hath given you, and they also have possessed the land which the Lord your God giveth them: then ye shall return unto the land of your possession, and enjoy it, which Moses the Lord’s servant gave you on this side Jordan toward the sunrising.
Josh 1:12-
Remind them of their commitment to God. A commitment to the Lord will always help an individual maintain a fresh relationship with the Lord. Why do we constantly ask for you to make decisions? Because we are spurring you to continual growth. A person who becomes spiritually stagnant will destroy himself with mediocrity. We make decisions, based on Scriptural truth, in order to have markers and mooring points where we can look back and account for where we stand with the Lord.
Think about the person who begins working out and trying to become more fit. You will usually see a before and after picture. Why? So they results are noticed, and it helps spur a continued effort. To see where we were before, helps us remember that it was not so good then. We usually remember the way things were with rose colored glasses, rather than looking at the picture and seeing how far we have come.
And they answered Joshua, saying, All that thou commandest us we will do, and whithersoever thou sendest us, we will go. According as we hearkened unto Moses in all things, so will we hearken unto thee: only the Lord thy God be with thee, as he was with Moses. Whosoever he be that doth rebel against thy commandment, and will not hearken unto thy words in all that thou commandest him, he shall be put to death: only be strong and of a good courage.
Go together and hold each other up.
Peter therefore was kept in prison: but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him.
Acts
For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.
Leaders come and go, but God has you here together. We always follow the leader we have, but understand, at the end of the day it is all about Christ..
