Ro 11:33-36; Eph 1:3-14. Dan Kroon. "To him be the glory forever!" "To the praise of his glorious grace!" "Praise and glory and wisdom and thanks and honour and power and strength be to our God for ever and ever!" It’s all about God’s glory – his glory alone. Our justification, our salvation, our forgiveness – all to the glory of God. This praise and glory is such a fitting and awesome way to close this series. Scripture is the revelation. Christ is the means. But God’s glory is the goal. It is the pinnacle of our theology and worship. We praise God because Scripture is rife with it. We praise God because his abundantly rich grace demands it. We praise God because our faith moves us to it. And we praise God because Christ is worthy to receive it and he’s made us worthy to bring it. So, this Sunday, let’s learn about his glory, but even moreso, let’s give him the glory!
