Leaning in to God’s Word
Have you ever read the Bible only to fall asleep, get distracted, or perhaps not even understood what you just read? Many people experience this throughout their faith life, but it does not have to be that way. Today I want you to catch a glimpse of an old story that is still breathing new life into its reader. Join with me as we study Creation and the amazing things that happened that we often overlook.
God called the light day, and the darkness He called night. And there was evening and there was morning, one day.

What an amazing thought to see God placing the earth into orbit. He we see God take the formless and begin to shape it by preparing for each step the precluding requirement for mankind to exist.

Interesting to consider that God did not create darkness. It was there already .
Day 1 - Light
Day 2 - Divided waters with expanse
Day 3 - Waters gather, land appeared
Day 4 - Light in the heavens (sun and moon)
Day 5 - Water living creatures, birds fly, sea monsters
Day 6 - Cattle and creeping things, man in his image, man dominion over land and animals
Day 7 - Rest from work.
