Have you ever get treated differently for being a Christian, or that being a Christian is harder than what it sounded like?

Do you know what’s one of the reason some people won’t accept Jesus as their Savior?

Well, it because the life of a Christian is not easy.

Even more in the word that we are living!

Where the non-believers get to live a great life while the believers struggle with their daily life.

o Verse 15 “For this is the will of God”.

- Did you ever wondered what’s God’s Will for you… well the Bible is very clear at letting us know what is His will, and part of it is that “By doing good we should put to silence the ignorance of the foolish”.

- With our example we should be blameless before people, so that they have nothing to say against us, but above all, to show the difference between believing in God and not.

Like the story where Elijah prove to the Priest of Baal who’s the Real God.

And you might think that that’s because God did something really extraordinary that day, but the way God works through your life is the greatest testimony, and people is gonna tell more about you by how you act than what you say.

And how you should act?

- Sometimes we feel too comfortable in the thought that God forgiveness toward us is limitless and that he gave us Free Will, and is true, but that’s not even an excuse for you to do what’s wrong In God’s eyes.

That’s one of the reasons people don’t believe in Christianity these days, because they see us as hypocrites.

Specifically, the book of judges talks about the many times God helped them against their enemies, but once they felt safe again they turn away from God to the point that God told them He was no longer going to deliver them () God still forgives them, because of His promise with Abraham, but their decisions leaded them to all the things that had happened to them through history.

- Now, what about Joseph?

Thanks to God he always ended up in high ranks, with power over people, and even managing money, and He could just become lazy and do nothing while saying to someone else to do it for him, or He could have “save” some of the riches for himself, and with Potiphar’s wife, He could just have listen to her and “keep it a secret” but no, he did none of these things because he didn’t wanna sin against God.

Joseph suffered, and he was only doing the right thing, but do you think he would have had the same outcome if the reason he ended up in jail was for actually sleeping with Potiphar’s wife?

God didn’t call us for accumulate riches in the world or to became famous, He has called us to follow him and his example: “… Because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example, so that you might follow in his steps”.

= Jesus instead of responding to the people that was harming him and threaten Him, He just simply “…continue entrusting himself to him who judges justly”.

- (Verse 21) “For to this you have been called”.

Leaving everything in God’s hand

- To Him Who Judges Justly: The only one who is righteous is God, and He would bring everyone into justice.
