When I Think I AM In The House Gal 4:21-31

In these times It may become easy to assume that because we are in church and that we attend regularly that that we have covered all bases when it comes to attaining our ticket to heaven.
We start to mix our traditional requirements and legalism and associate that with the promise of God for our salvation.
We as children of God need to have a clear understanding as to the requirement for our eternal salvation.
Here is this text Paul has pulled form an Old Testament account to identify and separate the difference between works~/legalism and grace.
Where did the raising of the hand at the reciting of the scripture at the benediction come from?
Why does everyone dress up so?
When did this start and is it a requirement?
John the Baptist wore camel’s hair and did eat wild honey.
The tradition started in the 4th century AD when a king was visiting a church and the people of the congregation dressed according to protocol and associated with meeting of a king, not because of the being in the presence at church of the Holy king.
Now this is a tradition that we still carry on today but that is where it was originated.
Because of this tradition are do we have a perquisite for those who come into our midst that don’t dress and look the way that we do?

q       When God changed Sari and Abrams names to Sarah and Abraham he made them a promise.

Versus 28 – 31 Paul makes three comparisons which apply to us today.
28 Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of promise.
In First, Paul compared the birth of *Isaac *to that of Christians.
As “Isaac” experienced a supernatural birth and was a child by means of a promise, so each of us believers experience a supernatural birth (John 3:3, 5) and is a recipient of the promise of salvation (Gal.
3:9, 22, 29).
As *children of promise we* are in a distinct category and should not live as children of bondage
John 17:20 Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word; 21 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, /art/ in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. 22 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one: 23 I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.
