*Me –* new acquisition…family…baby~/doing well…~/enjoying life etc… interesting…hands~/tiny little hands and feet~/hands are amazing…~/

 

*We –* story of your hands…~/produce…life story…video documentaries…start at beginning…baby~/tiny…hands…the…1st scene…be of …little fist…~/clenched…next scene…grasping mom’s fingers~/ then…see you holding onto chair…learn to walk…taking first steps… then...touch of affection…parents cheeks~/stroking…moms…dads face~/stroking a puppy~/the next scene…one of you acting aggressively…pushing~/shoving…brother or sister…wrestling….a

toy from their hands~/notice…all learned early…hands suited for survival…emotional expressions…hands can hurt, help, extend or clench can lift someone up~/put them down~/

 

Documentary continues…we see…proud moments of giving gifts…placing of a ring…doctoring a wound…preparing a meal or folding in prayer…all proud moments…good moments~/other side of coin…accusing finger, abusive fists, hands taking…more than giving…demanding…offering…wounding than loving~/

 

Hands…incredible power…in hands…leave them unmanaged….they

become weapons; clawing for power…strangling for survival….seducing

for pleasure~/ Manage them well and they become instruments of grace…not just tools …hands of God…but God’s very hands when surrendered fully.

*God –* Jesus completely surrendered…hands~/watching a documentary on his hands…would not see hands of greed or finger pointing…but hand of compassion.

Convey story: no one touched me…5 years~/describe…saw me, spoke me…sensed love…eyes….concern in eyes~/but could not feel a touch…not once…What I longed for…you take for granted~/
