Gratitude is faithfulness in view of the past and reality

Trust is faith looking forward

could we view gratitude in the wrong lense? Could we view blessings in the wrong lense? Through the lense of self. WHat I get. If I have a feeling of gratitude in my heart its enough.

What if the purpose of blessing is to generate praise?

God's blessings serve a purpose. Vocalize praise to fulfill their purpose.
