Teach us to pray: Our daily bread
Give us our daily beard-

God is a father who knows our needs and provides for our needs
and he provides us with what we need for each

Paul isn’t just saying he has learned to just live on what with what he has
Paul is saying it doesn’t matter what this world looks like he is Fulfilled by God
When we find our fulfillment in God
we can rejoice when everything looks like loss
we have hope when everything looks like despair
we face circumstances that are impossible, knowing that God is for us
When we are fulfilled by God we know our identity in Christ
we know who we belong to
We know that in God all of our needs are met
our identify
it doesn’t matter what people say about us
what people do to us
how people treat us
We are fulfilled by God only
we have found how to be content
Our satisfaction comes from God
Delight- to take one’s pleasure in
take pleasure and enjoyment in an object, implying desirability of the object
it is to be fulfilled in
Desires-
request, inquire, appeal, i.e., ask for something which is needed or desired, implying a response is expected

Our daily bread- God gives us everything we need to sustain us-
not just physical but spiritual

We think “But they don’t deserve it”
WE didn’t deserve it
it was an act of love and mercy
