Step Into Christmas Small Group Study Questions: 1. Have you ever been a part of putting on a big event at a church? How did you feel throughout the process? How was the event rewarding for you? 2. Read Matthew 28: 18-20. What words or images come to mind for you in reading these verses? Why does Jesus consider it so important we make disciples in his name? 3. Why do you think God so delights in changing people’s lives? Read Ezekiel 18:23 and Luke 15: 3-7. 4. In what ways can we pray for the upcoming Step Into Christmas event at Redeemer? 5. Steve Maraboli writes this: “Want to keep Christ in Christmas? Feed the hungry, clothe the naked, forgive the guilty, welcome the unwanted, care for the ill, love your enemies, and do unto others as you would have done unto you.” What do you think of Steve Maraboli’s words? What do you think he’s saying to us as Christians? 6. Dwight L. Moody, the famous evangelist and teacher has said: “The world does not understand theology or dogma, but it understands love and sympathy” Why is it so important that as Christians we reflect Christ to others, especially during the Christmas season? 7.
