in this series we will look at “Jesus: the man and his ministry”
This is another way of saying we will look at the personality of Christ and his works. we will approach these from two main divisions: Christology - a closer look at the person of Christ; and Soteriology -a study of his work of atonement.

The doctrine of the person of Christ is crucial to the Christian faith. It is basic to soteriology, for if our Lord was not what He claimed to be, then His atonement was a deficient, not sufficient, payment for sin.
