Sermon Tone Analysis

/            Friends, here is my message for the church of Demotte.

I share it with the hope that God will give you grace to pray into whatever part He would strike your heart with.

I have read this over and over again and each time I become more assured that I am accurately representing the Lord and His Word in my sharing of it.

He is Lord, King and Judge and I firmly believe that His word will always and will with all finality supersede every contrary law and bylaw created by men.

Jesus is Lord, and Lord over His church or it is not His church at all!  Please feel free to forward this to whosoever you want.

Much if not all is applicable to most every community of believers in North America.

            Beloved, I was at my friend Kim Ott’s house for a prayer meeting about three months ago, maybe longer.

It would have been October of 2006.

Her father in law was there, he is a semi-retired AG Pastor, and after worshipping we began our prayer time however the Lord would not let me pray until I first prophesied that there was a comet coming that would be 5 times brighter then Halley’s comet was and that it was to be a sign for Kim that her daughter Haley was called to be a sign and a wonder to her generation, that she would prophesy at an early age, stride boldly across the nations and would also prophesy concerning the things of the end.

So I did as I was commanded.

I prophesied.

And then we prayed.

We had a great prayer meeting and the spirit of prophesy was upon me enabling me to minister to all present.

Since then I have confidently awaited the appearance of this comet.

Every time I began to wonder about when it was to occur the Lord said, “Trust Me” So I did.

I remember distinctly when the Lord gave me this word that my thoughts were that Pastor Ott was most likely going to be thinking Earl was a kook prophet.

But who cares, I am used to that and although he did not express what he thought about it I was not worried at all.

Now Halley’s Comet was last seen in 1986.

It had a magnitude, a term that has to do with celestial objects brightness, of +2.0.

In order for this comet called McNaught to be 5 times brighter then Haley’s it would have to be classified as a -3.0 or better.

5 times brighter then Halley’s Comet was a part of the prophecy.

I first heard of this comet on January 12th and began to look at various on-line news reports.

In one news report I found we see that McNaught achieved a magnitude -3 on January 11th, 2007.

Comet McNaught was 5 times brighter then Halley’s was in 1986 as it leaves our hemisphere and heads down under!

So now I am sure that this is the one God spoke to me of.

This is how I think it works.

As I stood in faith the Lord took this seemingly insignificant comet, one that to some scientific minds had a chance of not even surviving its approach to the sun and perhaps even breaking apart and used it for His glory.

Jesus wanted this child’s destiny to be fulfilled and used a mighty sign in the heavens to put an assurance in the parents and grandparents heart that what He was saying thru the mouth of His servant Earl was real.

Actually this is not the first time I have been used of God in affecting cosmic objects, once the Lord told me in a dream to decree that a large meteor shift orbit in space so it would not strike the earth and destroy two thirds of Japan.

At that time He said */“Use your gift of miracles”/* and that is the spiritual gift I believe is being manifested here.

I did and it did.

One scripture that has held me ever since I first read it was Joshua 10:14.

You see that is my birthday.

I was born on President Ike’s birthday October 14th, 1956.

Here are the Joshua passages, I will underline verse 14.

Joshua 10:12-14: /Then Joshua spoke to the Lord in the day when the Lord delivered up the Amorites before the sons of Israel, and he said in the sight of Israel, “O sun, stand still at Gibeon, And O moon in the valley of Aijalon.”

So the sun stood still, and the moon stopped, Until the nation avenged themselves of their enemies.

Is it not written in the book of Jashar?

And the sun stopped in the middle of the sky and did not hasten to go down for about a whole day.

There was no day like that before it or after it, when the Lord listened to the voice of a man; for the Lord fought for Israel./

In all this I like to think we see that the Lord fought for Haley’s destiny and who do you think is going to be found out as Haley Ott’s strong man at the end of the age?

Acts 2:17-21 reveals that Holy Spirit has further interpreted Joel 2:28-32 by inserting this clause at the end of Acts 2:18/, “And they shall prophesy”/ The unfortunate insertion of a verse break here hinders one from quickly seeing that the fruit of prophesying at times is that the Lord grants wonders in the sky above and signs on the earth beneath.

This is the Lord setting His seal upon the one speaking His word.

We see this principle plainly in the NRSV at Mark 16:20: /And they went out and proclaimed the good news everywhere, while the Lord worked with them and confirmed the message by the signs that accompanied it/.

This Greek word */didomai/*, is seen as ‘/grant/’ in the NASB 95 update and is also translated as /show/, /perform/, and /bring forth/ in other translations.

One prominent verse utilizing this word (translated as ‘/given/’) is found in John’s Gospel at 5:36/.

“But the testimony which I have is greater than the testimony of John; for the works which the Father has given Me to accomplish—the very works that I do—testify about Me, that the Father has sent Me.” /We see this same word used in Matthew 9:8, /But when the crowds saw this, they were awestruck, and glorified God, who had given such authority to men/.

This, having a word from the Lord for your child that is backed up by a powerful sign and wonder, is really only one among many potential spiritual interactions with the Lord arising from the ministry gifts of the apostle and prophet working in the church.

And this is the type of thing that God’s people are being deprived of.

‘What!

How is that?’ you ask.

It is because the pastor’s have seized control of the church, and that unlawfully as they have no real scripture to stand on, and deny God’s people (not theirs) from receiving all the benefits Christ intended for them to have when He released the 5 fold ministry to the body and He ordained the apostle as the primary anointing and the prophet as second.

Do we need pastors?

Absolutely.

However the sad and dead state of our Christian communities is proof enough that we are out of the will and the Word of God.

Do you believe the scripture brother?

Do you believe the scripture my sister?

This is just plain Bible and it is in numerous places.

Ephesians 4:11, 1 Corinthians 12:28, Acts 11:27-28, 15:2, 4, 6, 22 and 32 to name a few of the more prominent ones.

Let me ask: Where are our Ephesus and Corinth cities in America that are in revival?

They are nonexistent and many of our leaders need to reread the Word, eat and receive it least they find that their ministries are treated in like manner as they have treated others and Christ throw’s them up.

Not necessarily them but their labors.

How sad that we can read the Bible and decide that our way, which has become ipso facto the Pastor’s way, is better then God’s way.

Team ministries involving the Ephesians 4:11 gifts of apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor and teacher are virtually non existent and who do you think will be giving account about this first?

It will be the ones who have worked hardest to hinder it.

Beloved this resistance to truth is not walking in Christ’s love.

People really are dying and literally going to hell while we play 1st and 2nd grade Christianity.

Someone is going to give an account and I want to at least be able to say I warned them and tried to teach them.

Why haven’t the pastors in our towns and cities gathered together to seek the Lord for the other ministry gifts to flower in their cities?

Where is the group of pastors who can say they have diligently cried out for the apostles, prophets and evangelists to come forth and cried until it occurred?

And what will the Lord say when they stand before Him and He holds them accountable for the pride in their hearts that obscured everything but where their ministries are going and their carnal need to compete and be first?

I am sure that the Lord will give each one of you whatever other examples you need in this theological realm in order to help you turn from error and press into truth.

If you want truth that is! Brutal but true, and I think some of you who read this will reject it however I know that Christ is going to take back His church from the usurpers who have given themselves over to the hardness of heart that allows them to justify continual resistance of the Holy Ghost.

Woe to them.

If you don’t believe me have the courage of your ill founded convictions and ask the Lord!

Of course that is not possible for some pastors because sadly they cannot discern the voice of the Lord for themselves.

And others are even spoken of in scripture, being blind leaders of far too many blind sheep, few have a legitimate excuse anymore and a day is coming when they will give account.

What does Christ think about their persistence in rejecting revelation by the Spirit of God and the wise counsel He sends them because of pride, envy and greed?

Let me also say, and say only because some are so controlled by the love of and the power money represents and not because I have spent more then 30 seconds thinking about it, that you can keep your money I am not after it.

However I am after this, revival in America and my heart felt advice is if you can’t let the Lord be Lord over His church then get out and let some one else lead.

Here is a brief word from God that addresses the main problem area, where most are held captive and where some have actively taken a role against the Lord and against His anointed ones.

They intentionally quench the Holy Ghost.

Can you believe that!

The very thing we need the most, an overflowing, outpouring of God’s Spirit, His rain and river without which no harvest comes they reject and replace the life of God with what pleases them and their main benefactors.

Religion!

Religion makes sure that the worship is short, the sermon is preached, the dead stay down, the sick leave suffering, apostles are resisted, prophets are silenced, evangelists are not cherished and hopefully we ‘/git’er done’/ by noon at the latest.

Sadly we keep our smile on even when we look in the mirror and correctly see ourselves as the dead, lukewarm and proud people we are.

We teach far too much tradition and thus negate the word of God rendering it powerless that we might honor our ancestors understanding of truth even to the point it is placed above what the Holy Spirit himself is trying to teach us today.

We are not building on the past, we are kneeling before it!

The fact that we mean well eases the suffering of the damned not at all.

It has occurred to me that some of you would not understand what this means “the sermon must be preached.”

So I will explain that here.

When the Spirit of God shows up in a more powerful way then usual we do not move with Him.

We quench Him!

The normal dead church model is we go on with our own preset program and expect that He will tag along.

This is not God’s way at all.

When God shows up we should expect Him to show us what He wants to do next.
