Look @ Poverty’s Story
An estimated 101 million primary-school-age children worldwide don’t attend school.
About 2.5 billion people live on less than $2 per day, making them extremely vulnerable to natural disasters, illness, food shortages or instability of any kind.
22,000 children die each day due to conditions of poverty.
Look @ Biblical Scripture
Matthew 25:
(Mark) Our obedience to biblical scripture can change poverty’s story.
It can also change our story.

Sponsoring two children in Uganda has changed our two sponsored kids and Cheryl and I.
In 2012 I was diagnosed with Male Breast Cancer while in Uganda on a trip to visit them.
I anticipated going back in 2013 and couldn’t wait to hug Peninah and carry Sharif on my shoulders.
There was nothing more humbling than to hear her speak in broken English, “I’ve been praying for your total healing.”
Their growth in the past years had been amazing.
I don’t know the details of Peninah’s or Sharif’s future but they have a path of hope!
Ill - Chris Dauster’s story, my sponsor leaks.
(We need a picture of Chris & his kid)
(Cheryl) What does child sponsorship look like?
Asti was served through a Christ-centered, church-based center in the neighborhood where they live.
Asti was known by her name and received opportunities for education, health, and personal development.
Most important of all, Asti learned about Jesus and saw the love of God expressed to him in a very practical way.
Your role as a sponsor can be a very special one.
You can share your love through prayers, letters, send a birthday gift, Christmas gift, and help your child feel loved and valued.
You can also visit.
(Mark)
I want to make a DYNAMIC difference with a group of people that want to make a DYNAMIC difference at a time that will make a DYNAMIC difference.
Jesus & WE > Jesus & ME
EMPOWERED by Jesus WE must be the church that KIDS would miss if WE weren’t here.

Today, I want to invite you to sponsor a child of your own.
This kid’s story can be personally changed through your love, prayers, letters, and support.
Along the wall you will see 300 child sponsorship packets.
Please take one and sit back down and fill out the paperwork.
When finished take it to the back table.
