Faith Begins Where the Will of God is Known.

Matthew 18:18 AMP
18 Truly I tell you, whatever you forbid and declare to be improper and unlawful on earth must be what is already forbidden in heaven, and whatever you permit and declare proper and lawful on earth must be what is already permitted in heaven.
Mark 1:21–22 NASB95
21 They went into Capernaum; and immediately on the Sabbath He entered the synagogue and began to teach. 22 They were amazed at His teaching; for He was teaching them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.
They were amazed, Why? He taught as one with authority. Makes me wonder what the scribes were teaching. Dead powerless religion. History. One day in the sweet by and by, it will be better.
Mark 1:23–24 NASB95
23 Just then there was a man in their synagogue with an unclean spirit; and he cried out, 24 saying, “What business do we have with each other, Jesus of Nazareth? Have You come to destroy us? I know who You are—the Holy One of God!”
What kind of dumb devil interrupts a good church service? Not only that, vs 24 he has a speaking part. Notice what they have to say. HAVE YOU COME TO DESTROY US? I KNOW WHO YOU ARE. What if every time we come in contact with demonic activity, the devils scream out, have you come to destroy us? I know who you are.
Mark 1:25–26 NASB95
25 And Jesus rebuked him, saying, “Be quiet, and come out of him!” 26 Throwing him into convulsions, the unclean spirit cried out with a loud voice and came out of him.
He Rebuked it. A 7 word rebuke. In the Greek, it is actually 2 Words. Quiet. OUT!
2008. ἐπιτιμάω ĕpitimaō, ep-ee-tee-mah´-o; from 1909 and 5091; to tax upon, i.e. censure or admonish; by impl. forbid:— (straitly) charge, rebuke.
Strong, J. (1996). The New Strong’s Dictionary of Hebrew and Greek Words. Nashville: Thomas Nelson.
NT:2008 e)pitima/w epitimaœ overcome with a powerful word, rebuke
(from Exegetical Dictionary of the New Testament © 1990 by William B. Eerdmans Publishing Company. All rights reserved.)
Jesus hear’s from Heaven, and enforces the penalty
* Little Girl…Voices, Noises. You get out of here. You don’t deserve to be here.....and they left. Why did they stop for an 8 year old? She spoke a powerful word, and they had to go.
Pat Stringer… (dumb devil) (Sally) End of the story. Still living. That’s how it is supposed to be when a manifestation of the devil shows up. But yet...
Mark 1:27 NASB95
27 They were all amazed, so that they debated among themselves, saying, “What is this? A new teaching with authority! He commands even the unclean spirits, and they obey Him.”
Amazed: Frightened. The devil’s been going to church for who knows how long. Jesus shows up and they are afraid.?
Mark 1:29–31 NASB95
29 And immediately after they came out of the synagogue, they came into the house of Simon and Andrew, with James and John. 30 Now Simon’s mother-in-law was lying sick with a fever; and immediately they spoke to Jesus about her. 31 And He came to her and raised her up, taking her by the hand, and the fever left her, and she waited on them.
Read: Does the scripture say she was going to die? No, It says she was sick. Then Same Story in Luke.
Luke 4:39 NASB95
39 And standing over her, He rebuked the fever, and it left her; and she immediately got up and waited on them.
He treated the fever like a common enemy. Spoke a powerful word over it,and it was gone.
The Message.
Luke 4:38–39 The Message
38 He left the meeting place and went to Simon’s house. Simon’s mother-in-law was running a high fever and they asked him to do something for her. 39 He stood over her, told the fever to leave—and it left. Before they knew it, she was up getting dinner for them.
What if every time we walked into the hospital where someone was dying of cancer, The cancer started screaming Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are, and then it left. Wouldn’t that be better than planing the funeral? Allen, that is just beyond anything I can imagine.
Back to Mark 1
Mark 1:38–39 NASB95
38 He said to them, “Let us go somewhere else to the towns nearby, so that I may preach there also; for that is what I came for.” 39 And He went into their synagogues throughout all Galilee, preaching and casting out the demons.
Sickness and Devils are Comfortable Within the Church and The Church is Amazed Someone Can Step Forward and Say No.
It’s a sad day when devils are comfortable and successful within the church. Explain sickness and devils.
Mark 1:40 NASB95
40 And a leper came to Jesus, beseeching Him and falling on his knees before Him, and saying, “If You are willing, You can make me clean.”
I know you can.
I don’t know if you will.
Mark 1:41 NASB95
41 Moved with compassion, Jesus stretched out His hand and touched him, and said to him, “I am willing; be cleansed.”
MOVED WITH COMPASSION!
Mark 1:42 NASB95
42 Immediately the leprosy left him and he was cleansed.
IMMEDIATELY!
Phillips NT.
Mark 1:41 NIV
41 Jesus was indignant. He reached out his hand and touched the man. “I am willing,” he said. “Be clean!”
Phillips NT.
One More. The Passion Translation.
Mark 1:41 NIV
41 Jesus was indignant. He reached out his hand and touched the man. “I am willing,” he said. “Be clean!”
The Heart of Heaven is Revealed. 39 times. (Explain) (Thorn ) But. Look at the phrase, Moved with compassion or moved with pity in the NIV.
Mark 1:41 NIV
41 Jesus was indignant. He reached out his hand and touched the man. “I am willing,” he said. “Be clean!”
3710. ὀργίζω ŏrgizō, or-gid´-zo; from 3709; to provoke or enrage, i.e. (pass.) become exasperated:— be angry (wroth).
Strong, J. (1996). The New Strong’s Dictionary of Hebrew and Greek Words. Nashville: Thomas Nelson.
88.174 ὀργίζομαι: to be relatively angry—‘to be full of anger, to be furious, to be angry.’ πᾶς ὁ ὀργιζόμενος τῷ ἀδελφῷ αὐτοῦ ‘whoever is angry with his brother’ Mt 5:22.

Jesus was mad.
At????????
If he is angry at the man for asking. We are all in trouble. If he is angry with the man for being sick. We are all in trouble.

Mark 1:42–43 NASB95
42 Immediately the leprosy left him and he was cleansed. 43 And He sternly warned him and immediately sent him away,
1690. ἐμβριμάομαι ĕmbrimaŏmai, em-brim-ah´-om-ahee; from 1722 and βριμάομαι brimaŏmai (to snort with anger); to have indignation on, i.e. (tran.) to blame, (intr.) to sigh with chagrin, (spec.) to sternly enjoin:— straitly charge, groan, murmur against.
Mark 1:44 NASB95
44 and He said to him, “See that you say nothing to anyone; but go, show yourself to the priest and offer for your cleansing what Moses commanded, as a testimony to them.”
As a testimony to ......them. Them who? the Priest. TELL THEM. GOD STILL HEALS.
It’s time to tell the Church, God still heals, and then, demonstrate it.
It’s time to tell your neighbors, God still heals, and then, demonstrate it.
It’s time to tell the World, God still heals, and then demonstrate it.
What was the anger? Compassion?
University Hospital.
Psalm 103:1–2 AMP
1 [A Psalm] of David. BLESS (AFFECTIONATELY, gratefully praise) the Lord, O my soul; and all that is [deepest] within me, bless His holy name! 2 Bless (affectionately, gratefully praise) the Lord, O my soul, and forget not [one of] all His benefits—
שָׁכֵחַ shâkêach, shaw-kay’-akh; a prim. root; to mislay, i.e. to be oblivious of, from want of memory or attention:— × at all, (cause to) forget.
Strong, J. (1996). The New Strong’s Dictionary of Hebrew and Greek Words. Nashville: Thomas Nelson.
Christmas tree light switch. I know I have it somewhere. I think. I hope. It’s place in my mind is occupied by something else. (hockey, football, family) It bugs me that I don’t know where it is. I need it. It didn’t bother me last year. We didn’t need it then.
Psalm 103:3–5 AMP
3 Who forgives [every one of] all your iniquities, Who heals [each one of] all your diseases, 4 Who redeems your life from the pit and corruption, Who beautifies, dignifies, and crowns you with loving-kindness and tender mercy; 5 Who satisfies your mouth [your necessity and desire at your personal age and situation] with good so that your youth, renewed, is like the eagle’s [strong, overcoming, soaring]!
How do we forget, misplace the benefits of being a child of God?
Read verse 5 again. Satisfy: Fill to the full, YOUR MOUTH?
NASB
Psalm 103:5 NASB95
5 Who satisfies your years with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagle.
HE FILLS TO THE FULL, MY YEARS. I like that.
Psalm 103:5 NIV
5 who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.
He fills my desires to the full. I like that too.
Mouth?
Years?
Desires?
Which one is it?
Yes!
tc Heb “who satisfies with the good of your ornaments.”
Biblical Studies Press. (2005). The NET Bible First Edition; Bible. English. NET Bible.; The NET Bible. Biblical Studies Press.
He satisfies what comes out of our mouths.
Proverbs 18:20–21 NASB95
20 With the fruit of a man’s mouth his stomach will be satisfied; He will be satisfied with the product of his lips. 21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit.
What do we align ourselves with? Are you speaking what you want? Are you speaking what you have?
Mark 4:35 NASB95
35 On that day, when evening came, He said to them, “Let us go over to the other side.”
What is that?
It is a Heaven released Truth.
Contained within the Released Truth is everything needed to bring it to pass.
Mark 4:36 NASB95
36 Leaving the crowd, they took Him along with them in the boat, just as He was; and other boats were with Him.
Read:
Mark 4:37 NASB95
37 And there arose a fierce gale of wind, and the waves were breaking over the boat so much that the boat was already filling up.
Mega Whirlwind coming from all 4 directions.
These are the Facts:
It could be the Doctor’s Report. It could be the Bank Statement. It could be the Police Report.
What do you do when the facts are different from the Truth? Look to Jesus.
Mark 4:38 NASB95
38 Jesus Himself was in the stern, asleep on the cushion; and they woke Him and said to Him, “Teacher, do You not care that we are perishing?”
Great, Jesus is asleep. He’s not saying anything. What comes out of their mouths next, is going to align them with either the truth, or the facts. Fade in.
Their mouths align them with the facts. It keeps them in the realm of their expertise. ( explain) Jesus in his mercy.
Vs 39
Mark 4:39 NASB95
39 And He got up and rebuked the wind and said to the sea, “Hush, be still.” And the wind died down and it became perfectly calm.
He commanded the facts to line up with the truth. It does. Then
Mark 4:40–41 NASB95
40 And He said to them, “Why are you afraid? How is it that you have no faith?” 41 They became very much afraid and said to one another, “Who then is this, that even the wind and the sea obey Him?”
The Truth will Trump the Facts If You Will Believe it.
Youth Camp
Karen. (Circumstances, the effect it was having on us. Laura & Ron’s wedding) ( Mediterranean Cruise) She’s giving me the Doctor’s report. I’m giving her the word. She’s telling me what she feels. I’m telling her what Heaven is telling me. “ I know you love me, but it sure doesn’t seem like it sometimes.” If I agree with you, you will die, and I’m not going to do it. Something broke, in her. Prior to that, I felt like I was carrying the whole load. After that moment, Karen grabbed hold of the Word with me. She started putting the Word into her. When ever a bad report would come in, We would sit a talk about it. We would always end on what the Word said. ( The visit to the Doctor)( Then Do It) ( After a ten year battle.) The Doctor moved on. A new Doctor moved in, and Karen walked away with a clean bill of health.
Never Let Go of The Truth, No Matter What the Facts Say.
Jeremiah 29:11 NIV
11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
Restored Hope
