1. Dead Christians—v. . All who have died in the Lord will return with Christ in the clouds.

2. Alive Christians—v. . Those Christians alive when Christ returns will arise to meet Him in the air. Will be with the Lord forever.

III. THE CHRIST—v.

1. Awaken—“For the Lord shall descend from heaven with a shout.” See also .

3. Authority—“And with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall arise first.” See .

IV. THE CHANGE—v.

1. Trip—“Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air.” See , .

V. THE COMFORT—v.

1. Comfort us in time of sorrow

Comfort one another with these words. “He’s coming again.” All problems of this life will soon be forgotten.
