I try to just “deal with it” that Im a sinner.
BUT I cant deal.
its crushing to me. because in my eyes, I am UNWORTHY of a relationship with God.
For all have sinned and fallen short of the Glory of GOd.
BUT I ACCEPT BY FAITH THIS WONDERFUL THING…the forgiveness of God.
If you do not stand firm in your FAITH you will not stand at all.
God wants AHAZ to trust him so desperately.
Normally, he says, DONT TEST ME JUST TRUST ME.
But this time, HE OFFERS to give ahaz a sign.
Isaiah 7:10-
What would you do if the lord offered you a sign?
How would you react.
You mean you’ll PROVE TO ME That your there!?!?!? YES! Please do.
thats not how men with hard hearts listen to god.
People with hard hearts can see the sign of resurrection of Jesus and it wont be enough.
Same with AHAZ. he doesnt want the sign.

God begs him, TRUST ME.

In fact i think just about all the gifts god gives us are intended to magnify our ability to bless others.
When Emmanuel is born, AHAZ, these problems will dissappear.
