Crow and the pitcher

I read a story recently about a crow, and the crow was thirsty, dying from thirst in fact…
Many little steps that God wants to guide you in to help you with what God wants to bless you in. Often we don’t want to take those little steps and trust God.
We want give it to me and give it now. People are in a state of dissatisfaction. Not happy with what we have… Always chasing something.
God knows all that we need and guess what…? All that we need God wants to give us. But often we rob God from being able to give. Could it be that we are unfaithful in the little things.
Time: We spend so much time in the week trying to achieve things, taking the kids to extra curricular activities, working extra hours for our jobs… But are we taking a proper sabbath rest? I am not talking about a sabbath siesta... But a rest… A rest from self-preservation a rest from self-reliance. The preaching of Christ seems to be foolishness to those who do not believe. How can taking a day out of my seven give me more time? How can giving God our time, give us time? Could it be, that as we learn to trust in him through spending time with him and learning of his trustworthiness, that we find ourselves blessed with time to achieve all we need? Or do we find ourselves waiting for the sabbath to end so we can get back to all we need to do?
Money: I hear some people say they cant even afford fuel in there car to drive to church. Where have you been driving for the rest of the week?
Someone here is being robbed! God is being robbed of a blessing that he wants to give to his people.
We say we can not afford to drive to church to be feed the spiritual food that springs up to eternal life. Were we able to drive to the shop to buy food for our physical bodies?
Now, I know what your thinking… If I don’t eat i will die...
Matthew 16:25–26 NASB95
“For whoever wishes to save his life will lose it; but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it. “For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?
Matthew 16:25-26
God knows all that we need. There are many area’s in our life that God says give them to me.
What about our bodies? Our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit and God wants to fill us but we need to give our bodies to be filled.
Deuteronomy 30:9 NASB95
“Then the Lord your God will prosper you abundantly in all the work of your hand, in the offspring of your body and in the offspring of your cattle and in the produce of your ground, for the Lord will again rejoice over you for good, just as He rejoiced over your fathers;
Psalm 50:10–12 NASB95
“For every beast of the forest is Mine, The cattle on a thousand hills. “I know every bird of the mountains, And everything that moves in the field is Mine. “If I were hungry I would not tell you, For the world is Mine, and all it contains.
Psalm 50:10-12
Psalm 24:1
Psalm 24:1 NASB95
The earth is the Lord’s, and all it contains, The world, and those who dwell in it.
Luke 6:38 NASB95
“Give, and it will be given to you. They will pour into your lap a good measure—pressed down, shaken together, and running over. For by your standard of measure it will be measured to you in return.”
