Christmas is for Peace
Christmas is for Peace
Why did Jesus come to our earth?
It was to make peace between God and people.
Glory to God in the highest heaven,
and peace on earth to people He favors!
Peace is...
Peace is...
Peace i
Imagine what it was like for God, (the Father, Son & Holy Spirit) to create our universe and our world. He made everything, and everything that He made was good.
That is peace…everything is good. Everything is right. Everything is exactly perfect.
Our world was made for peace, so what happened...
War
Sickness
Pain
Broken friendships
These are all symptoms of conflict. These are all symptoms of sin.
Jesus coming to earth at Christmas is the beginning of a real peace. For now, it is a peace between people who trust in Jesus for salvation and God. He makes a way for us to be at peace with God, not in conflict.

The peacemakers are blessed,
for they will be called sons of God.
Matt 5:
He sent the message to the Israelites, proclaiming the good news of peace through Jesus Christ—He is Lord of all.
Here is what I am asking you to do this Christmas season. Be a person of peace.
Don’t be argumentative
Look for ways to encourage others
Pray for your family and friends
Be a safe person, be one that people can trust, and rely on.
Live your life for God’s glory.
Just to end this on a fun note, here is a fun version of what it means to be a Christian, set to a song that some of you might know.
