Hey, man, ya'll pretty quiet up in here. Did I miss something? You know that I missed we supposed to have joy up in here. Amen, you know what the back in the day? They didn't have all this electronics and yet they were still having church. Amen. So I just pray and hope we don't get so sophisticated. So cute that we can't really enjoy the Lord. Amen. So this is a time where we were supposed to give it all a team and not just a little bit. I just to see what this other person is doing. No, you give yours a guy because of what he's given to you man. And so I want everybody to stand. And let's just give God some praise a man. Let's open up your mouth and just give God some praise in your own way. You know what we've been blessed. It's a whole new year. We are almost through with this year. A lot of things have happened and we still here that's enough to give God praise him and thank him for all that. He has done. So y'all know me. I don't believe in being pretentious. Amen. I don't believe in all that bush Enos, you know, I could be busy, but I'm not a man, but I do believe in praising the Lord. Amen. So we got to do a couple things before we bring our speaker of the our up our confession of faith. We going to share in our confession of Faith. So keep standing so I want you to repeat this after me. I am not move. By what I see. Are by what I hear. That's right. I am moved. But what I believe I believe the word of God the victory is mine. I have it now. I can see it through the eyes of my faith in Jesus name. Amen. You may be seated in the presence of the Lord. So before I bring up our speak, I got to share a little story. He probably don't remember this now, you know, I have lots of sons, but you know, you don't have Jesus head that inner circle amen. So so this young man I'm bringing up with is in my inner circle. Since I got to share this story with y'all we went on the field trip for my job. We drove down to Southern California and he and I and we get down to Southern California to the hotel and I get sick as a dog, but let me tell you what what happens when you get when you have a son who's a man of God. He was right there with me a man right there. Even if I I was in the hotel room and he was right there, you know, I probably didn't know what to do to keep yourself occupied and all I can do is sweat and sleep and then I get a little break and he will be right there when we go try to get something to eat come right back to the hotel and then afterwards he would we drove all the way from Southern California through Palmdale Lancaster picked up some stuff and came on back home. You remember that Jamal? So let me tell you about when you get a young man of God. He's always going to be there and didn't matter what folks say, you don't have to prove himself. He don't have to show anything. He already know who he is a man. And so that's what we need to know. We need to know who we are in relationship to each other a man. Cuz if I'm your brother, I'm your sister. I'm not going to do anything to hurt you or harm you a man, but if I'm perpetrating I'm waiting for that opportunity to put a knife in your back and so is family we always got to be aware of who we are to each other and to take care of each other. So I'm excited because I get to bring this young man up and we get to hear him give the word and we don't went back there and prayed so far for those of you, you know, that that that introduction that they always say church. You know how many times that we go? We have a lot of frustration many times we go through trials and we go through tribulations and that's what my message today is going to be about today my messages going to be speaking out of

every dark cloud has a silver lining. and what that means is that the premise of my messages about having hope and to know where your help comes from and said be encouraged when You Face trials and when you feel persecuted and just to know that God is with you. Amen.

So before we get ready to dive into this message, I just want to go into prayer and know what I said you guys please just got your heads and just received this message. Heavenly father. I thank you for this opportunity to be able to give you a word. I pray Lord that you just use me as a vessel or to uplift your kingdom Lord. I pray Lord that you take me out of the equation Lord and you just Build Me Up and you help me to focus on you Lord. Let me decrease while you increase Heavenly Father Lord, Lord bless this church bless all the people who came today Lord. Open their ears help me follow the lord open their hearts Laura to receive your message these and other blessings ice in Jesus precious name. Amen. A man a man. I appreciate all you guys coming and I thank you, and I hope that you guys receive a word. So today's message is coming out of 2nd Corinthians. Chapter 4 verses 8 through 9 Annie Reeves if you guys want to follow along you guys can do the opportunity for you to get your bibles. If not, it's up here on the screen. It says verse 8 we are troubled on every side yet not distressed. We are perplexed but not in despair persecuted, but not forsaken cast down but not destroyed in the living Bible. It reads. We are pressed on every side but not troubled. Not crushed and broken. We are perplexed because we don't know why things happen as they do but we don't give up and quit we have we had we are hunted down but God never abandons us we get knocked down, but we get up again and keep going a man. So, you know this year has been a tough year going from being beaten the company and then they bought out our company in a lot of people got fired and dealing with dancing and family dealing with personal issues. We all have our struggles. We all have our battles and sometimes we think why is this happening to me? Why am I so frustrated or why does it seem like a domino effect of things keep getting worse and worse and worse without getting any any better and I'm here to tell you to stay encouraged to keep the faith and stay rooted and I'm going to be using a lot of scriptures so I can illustrate to you what's happening in your life. And what's happening in the church Community these things are happening to you not because of anything that you've done wrong is happening to you because you're on your way to your breakthrough. You're on your way to your Victory. You're on your way to receive a blessing because God is using you what God wants to do is What God wants to do is he was trying to build you up and he's trying to get you to see that his way is better and sometimes we go through opposition's because we're not listening to his word or sometimes. It's not because of us sometimes God uses us to show his glory through other people because we're vessels a man.

so we all face adversities soda illustrate where all this sin is coming from. Let's take a look at the scriptures in Hosea chapter 4 verse 6. It says my people are destroyed for lack of knowledge because they have rejected knowledge. I will also rejecting that thou shall not be priest to me seeing that has forgotten the law of my God. I will also forget be so back in the Old Testament. We see that God curse the world because people were not listening to his word people wanted to do the things that they wanted to do. They were praying to boss gods and all these things the priests weren't doing what they're supposed to do. So God was angry with the children of Israel. He was upset with them because of the sin in the world and because of Disobedience, that's why things happen to us because of our forefathers and because of the city in the world we suffer Affliction we suffer death we suffer pain. These are the things that are Putting in our lives because of sin in the world. So when you're there when all of you guys are facing problems in your life, we must first understand where it comes from it comes from the seed in the world. It comes from the Disobedience. It comes from the lack of knowledge and it comes from the the evil spirits that dwell into this world and it says in the scriptures in Ephesians chapter 6 verse 12 that we do not wrestle against flesh and blood we wrestle against the principalities against the powers of the rulers of this world. The darkness of his age against the spiritual hosts of the wickedness in Heavenly places. So therefore we know in the scripture is that Satan? He dwells in his Earth. So therefore he has he wreaked havoc on God's people and that's why I sent it is in the world because we know that the devil runs rampid and causes us to stumble through the devices of the other spiritual devices. Sometimes when we Face problems, it's a spiritual battle. That's why we have to be equipped with the whole armor of God. We have to have this number of Salvation. We have to have the helmet of Truth and we have to have the sort of God's word in order to fight these battles a man. Buy a show of hands how many of you guys face adversity and man how many of you guys ever feel like giving up and man because sometimes the burden to others world that way so heavy Ana's it weighs heavy on us because because of our flesh our flesh is our selfish desires that we have because like in the scripture that says that we don't follow what God wants to do because we want to follow what we want to do in our our flesh represents our egos and we all have an ego we want to do the things that we want to do. And if we do the things that we want to do that mean that we don't need God because what we're leaning on our own righteousness a man. So without the without God in our lives and what all are studying the scriptures that were leaning on our own righteousness and that's why God is upset with us because he's trying to show us that his way is better than our way a man.

So in Galatians chapter 5 verse 17, it says for the flesh sets his desires. Against the spirit and the spirit against the flesh for these are in opposition of one another so that you may not do the things that you please a man. So just like I was reading in Ephesians chapter 6 were in a spiritual battle. We have the fiery darts from the devil that he's trying to throw us off our path as well as our ego and are we have our ego when we have our our selfish desires of the things that we want to do and it's in constant conflict with got what God wants us to do so, we have all this opposition against us we get frustrated. We don't understand where it's coming from and it causes us to stumble stumble. So I'm here to tell you to not give up and not to give hope Because in the scripture that says in James chapter 1 verses 2 and 4 says consider it Joy my brothers and sisters whenever you face Trials of many kinds because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance let perseverance finish its work. So you made mature and complete not lacking anything a man. So, you know when I was a little boy my mom used to always tell me boy. I know was down the street and around the corner and sometimes when were immature or we lack wisdom or knowledge. Sometimes we're not able to get that Forsyte. I was down the street and around the corner and man. So sometimes what God is doing is that if he allows certain things that happened in to our lives because he wants to shape us he wants to mold us into the perfect Christians and preparers to be able to face these obstacles. So when we Face obstacles and we overcome those we should give him praise we should have Victory because we know that our strength comes from the Lord in the Bible. It talks about Paul when I am weak. I am strong because he doesn't lean on his own righteousness. He depends on you depends on God cuz all our power and all our strength comes from God. That's why we pray. That's why we come to church on Sunday so we can get replenish. It's like a well the Living Water it refilled his and so there. Or we should Rejoice that when were tired and we feel weak. We have a source of energy that we can come from and a source of energy is the word of God and man.

In Proverbs chapter 3 verse 12 it says because the Lord disciplines those he loves as a father the son he disses he Delights in a man. So sometimes we go through life and we make a lot of mistakes in our life and it's not because God is angry with us. It's because he's chastising us because he's getting us to see that maybe you shouldn't have done that. Maybe you shouldn't have went left. Maybe you should have went right and God is like a father. He's like appearing in our lives and he's trying to show us that you know, what maybe you shouldn't have done that but I'm not upset with you. That's why we ask for forgiveness because God forgives us and he wants to see the bigger picture. Hey, man.

in Jeremiah chapter 18 verses 3 through 4 The Prophet Jeremiah he's facing a lot of battles and he's talking to God and you just asking God it says when I went down to The Potter's House and there was there he was making something on the wheel but the vessel that he was making a clay was marred or was spoiled in the Potter. So he remodeled it and to another vessel at the police department to make

So basically what this scripture is saying is you are the clay and you have some imperfections and what God is doing is he's using life to show you that he's trying to guide you. He's you have imperfections that he's trying to smooth out and he wants you to be more like him in the scripture that says let this mind be in you which is also which is in Christ Jesus. So what he's trying to do is use shaping you he's letting you go through life. He's letting you be disappointed to show you that you can depend on him. He will pick you up he will be closer to you than a brother. You will be a father to you and he's trying to pick you up when you fall down and he showing you you don't have it all under control yet. There's still some things that I'm working in your life. I'm smoothing these rough edges. There's things in you that you need to work on those things in your life that you need to be patient with and I'm holding you in my hand and I'm comforting you and I'm smoothing you out. So when you look back in your life and you look at the things that your face with maybe it's Because God is trying to create a new vessel into you. He is he's breaking you down to build you back up. And so the premise of what I'm trying to explain to you is that your blessing is in the breaking when Jesus was at the supper with his disciples. He broke the bread and when he broke the bread I was the blessing and sometimes God wants to break us in order to build his back up into a new vessel into a new creature. And so your blessing is in the breaking. So when you go through trials and you go through tribulations, you know that you have a God that looks high that I said hi and he looks low he knows everything that you're going through Jesus suffered on the cross because we can call on him because we he knows our afflictions. He know the things that we suffer from and I'm here to tell you that hold on continue to have the faith stand firm on the word of God. Know that your blessing is around the corner keep your head high and know that just because things happen to you is not because you did something wrong just like in the scriptures with a man who was blind and lame and death. Everybody thought it was his parents. So you must have did something wrong know these things happen in your life in order for God to show other people his work because we are all vessels. I sometimes we go through things that is not because of us is to show God's power and guy uses his people to show his work. That's why he had his disciples to go out and minister to the people because he speaking through them because they're vessels and we're all vessels and what God wants to do. Is he trying to break us down to build us back up into something new a new creature a man. So I'm here to give you the faith stay rooted in his word. Don't question God because everything happens for a reason. It's okay to not understand what is happening. But in the scriptures that says that all things happen for the good of the Lord amen. So just know that when you stand firm in his word that everything is going to happen for a reason and it's going to evolve just stay rooted into the word of God and man.

So when we go through our trials and tribulations counted a blessing be thankful that sometimes that we go through we suffer and sometimes we we have pain in our lives and we don't know how we're going to overcome these battles, but I'm here to tell you count all these blessings because God He blesses those. He loves a man. He's a mentor to us. He's a father to us. He's coaching us and he's keeping us in his hand a man. So we got to look at things from a different perspective instead of why me. You should ask yourself. Why not me God has all power in his hands if he could turn the Apostle Paul from solved and what more else he could do for your life and the scripture that says the birds don't worry about where they're going to eat. So why are you worried? You got us stay focused stay focused on him. Stay focus on your word. Do what you have to do to help other people go into the community. Give your testimony like Sharon said her testimony that she got her Master's Degree. I remember early on she started off at a junior college. She will star as she will stop. She was starting to look she finished. She's on her way to becoming the first doctor in the family and what I'm here to tell you is that just because it was on their surface. You don't know what God has done for you down the street and around the corner and man there's a blessing waiting for you down the street and around the corner, but you got to keep your eyes on him. So your faith is like a seed so when you plan it into the ground is taking route, you may not see it in the above the surface but under the ground is taking route and the roots are are the word of God a man getting planted into the ground. And when you lose your faith that little seat is on able to break through the surface and Blossom and be that Rose or be that tree so you got to continue to stay focused because you don't know what your blessing is going to be because you don't see it. It's taking route. And the more that you stay focused on him the more he's going to make Provisions for you that Holy Spirit intercedes on your behalf, even though you're grown even when you don't know how to articulate what you want to say. He knows your pain. He knows your grunts. He knows your tears and the Holy Spirit intercedes on behalf of you and I'm here to tell you stay focus know that the Lord God hears you the God wants to do a good work into your life. He wants you to appreciate the times I suffer. So when he blesses you, you know how to appreciate the blessings a man.

So I just want to leave with this. I want to leave you hope that God he hears you these things that happened to you is because he's molting you when is shaping you he wants to break you down so we can build you up into a new creature. So the beauty is in the breaking just like the bread when he broke the bread. There was a blessing just like Jeremiah what the potters clay, he's shaping you you got some lumps you got some imperfections and he's breaking you down as smoothing out those rough edges a man. So just keep the faith stay rooted when you face opposition's when You Face A diversity it down on your knees and praise them worshiping thank you because you have a blessing coming your way continue to praise Him continue to shout. So when you do get your blessing. Even more than you can even more appreciate it even more and use these things and be a stupid over the things that God blessed you with and use your test. Morning to bless other people because that's how God uses us raw decibels. He uses us to bless other people and man. It's going to lose my message.

A word of encouragement no matter what you going through. The blessing is in the break and I like that. So when I still at and you hear it in the message in a couple of months, I don't know where it came from. Amen. I'm so grateful to God for the men and women that he places not only in this ministry. But in my life amen again, we we need each other. We cannot we cannot do the work of the Lord unless we do it together a man. No, man is an island and and you know, someone ask me, you know, so past. What do you why do you a lot of I said I allow young people to share what's on their heart cuz somebody let me share what's on my heart. Amen, and and you always develop into those shoes. You know, you always want you out your if the shoes are too big so you just put your feet in your not like a little kid and they put in a little boy put in their daddy shoes and she was a flopping everywhere until you grow into it. So I thank you brother Jamal for being steadfast and allowing the Lord to use you and give you that message. So it was a word of encouragement they meant Alright, so here's what we going to do a couple of things. You know what the reason we come. It's like he said is to to get filled out so I can well. You get filled up cuz the world will drain you. Amen. Just living in this craziness will drain you on a daily basis. So we come back to get filled up. We come back to encourage each other we come back so that we can hear from the Lord so we can go back out into this crazy world and give to this world what God has given to us. That's how this thing works. Amen. It's so it's really important that you understand have patience with each other. Have patience with the people around you because we really don't know what they're going through and sometimes instead of going at them showing some love. Hey, man, give him some soon. Just give him some favor. He man. Just let him know that Jesus loves you. We do all this for one reason. To give someone an opportunity to accept Jesus Christ as their own personal Lord and savior. The Reason God allowed us to have this ministry so that we can get the word of God out. And share with someone about the love of Christ. So if you were here today, and you never accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior, guess what I got an amazing gift for you. And I remember when someone told me about this gif. And told me everything that happened once you accept Jesus Christ. And I was going through so much in my life at that time that all I could do was say I tried everything else. So I'm going to try this crutch you talking about? best decision in my life best decision in my life was the trike rice. When I accepted him as my personal Lord and savior. He told me I'm never going to leave you. I'm never going to forsake you. I'm not going to talk about you like everybody else. But when you fall short, I'm going to be there to pick you up. When things are going crazy know that I'm right there with you and all the Christmas. And he's been true to his word ever since. I asked you if you're going through anything. It doesn't matter if people know about it, or they don't know if you're going through anything and you have not accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and savior. You got nothing to lose? He makes a really simple. All we ask is that you would just believe in who he is. So let's do this if you hear cuz it maybe someone who's never stepped in and they're like, you know what I've heard about it and I'm interested but I don't know what to do. He makes it that simple for us you're saying you don't have to go to the West wall or to the East wall and get on your knee. He made it there right there. You're safe. The here's the challenge. Everyday, you got to work out your salvation. This is where the works comes in. So you got to get around people who can encourage you when you don't know what to do. You got to get around people who can explain the Bible to you when you read it and it doesn't make sense. You've got to surround yourself with men and women of God who have been on this battlefield a little longer than you have. And if you do that. The walk is a little easier. I'm very open and I'm very honest. If this is the first time you've accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior the devil is not happy. He's going to come at you with everything. He can people that you haven't seen or heard from in a long while will call you after try to get you to go back to doing what you used to do. Opportunities in situations that you couldn't even imagine now present themselves because that's what the devil wants for.

if you don't understand what's going on just called someone if you don't understand on our on the connection card when you fill it out. Just put I need some information on what it means to be a Christian. Just fill it out. Just just put on there. I don't believe in embarrassing people just write down. Hey, I need some more information and will call you. If you're here, and you have accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior, but life happens. and that relationship is not as intimate as it once was you ready to come back? Guess what? God has been waiting for you all alone. And all he's been asking you for you this that takes one stands. And if you're ready. Put yourself back in that recently relationship with Jesus Christ.

You want to write that down? I'm ready to reestablish my relationship with God.

If you were here and you're looking for a church home a place where you can say, you know, what that's my church family. This is the church. I attend and you want family around you. Guess what? Not that people said hey if you guys are still growing I am looking for something bigger something. That's okay. I will help you find the church. That's Bible base. So that you can grow in about 3 minutes. No, I won't. Put you in a place where it's all emotions. Cuz that's not going to happen, bro. But I will help you find a place that teach. What are men and women and children are learning from the body? Not a lot of that ancillary stuff, but you're fine. So put that on your connection, Say hey, I am interested in a church home. I'm looking for a place where I can call home. Can you talk more to me about this? About to talk to you say hey, I like y'all y'all cool people and everything, but I'm looking for something else. Let's work together cuz I'd rather have you in the Kingdom then outside of the Kingdom a man. That's how important this is to me. So if you're here. You never accepted Jesus Christ as personal Lord and Savior or you're ready to reestablish a relationship with Jesus. Are you looking for a church? Who sings put it on your connection car? But did you ready to make a statement right now? Come on up. Come on up if you ready to say hey, I'm looking for a church. Um, I'm ready to reestablish my my relationship with God or pay. This is my first time accepting Jesus Christ and you ready to stand come on up. Trust me. You going to have a lot of folks encouraging But if not, write it on the connection car, so, it's me and my wife are praying over each connection car. We can call you and pray with you.
