John 14:1–3 ESV
“Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also.
2 Corinthians 4:16–18 ESV
So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day. For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal.
He enjoyed work. He would tell me about what was going on at work, whether he was working from home or in the office. He appreciate Prairie Farms and the people there.
As we gather today and remember Ken, we do not mourn for Him.
So as we are here today to remember Ken and His life, we do not mourn for him.
-Death is separation.
-When sin entered the world death became a reality of life. Humanity become separated from God and death become a consequence of sin.
-We mourn because ken is separated from us.
3 Things God provides to help mourn and bring comfort.
Family- Ken is a Dad, Brother, Husband, and PaPaw.
Ken loved his family. Everytime I visited with Ken he talked about his family.
loved Cindy-always taking care of her. He enjoyed traveling with Cindy. Taking trips to Tennessee and to Branson. He especially enjoyed sitting on the various balconies; looking at the scenery, drinking coffee and spending time with His wife.
He was proud of Jared and Lauren, the people they married and the families they have become.
This is a time for you to be a family.
Things will be different. Ken was a vibrant person, who made an impact on everyone’s lives around him. He will be missed.
He enjoyed work. He would tell me about what was going on at work, whether he was working from home or in the office. He appreciate Prairie Farms and the people there.
Take care of one another.
Check in on Cindy, but not after 10 pm.
Memories- Memories are important. Take time and opportunities to remember Ken and as a family share those stories. Often these stories will bring tears to your eyes. That’s ok. Take time to cry together. Othertimes these memories will bring a laugh or smile to your face. And that’s ok as well.
Ken loved baseball and golf.
One of Ken’s dreams was to golf at Top of the Rock in Branson and to stay in one of the cabins. Both of which he achieved. In fact there is a story of Ken golfing there with Jared and Eric. Ken was so excited he was actually telling Jared and Eric to hurry up because they were slowing him down.
Another special time was when the family traveled to Branson and rented a boat. Ken enjoyed driving the boat and taking the family tubing. He loved speeding along with the boys on the tube behind the boat, trying to throw them off. Cindy even took her turn on the tube. From what I am told he thought better than to try and throw her off because he wanted to stay married.
c. He enjoyed work. He would tell me about what was going on at work, whether he was working from home or in the office. He appreciate Prairie Farms and the people there.

Each of you have your own special memory of Ken. Make sure to take a moment and share those memories.
Faith- Faith was an enormous part of Ken’s life.
Ken’s Bible was filled with passages that were underlined.
Even though the last couple years were difficult. Ken always had faith.
He loved music and church.
If there is one thing I believe Ken would want you to know is that God loves you. Ken knew Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. He would invite you to do the same as well.
