Why does God need to remember to be merciful to His servant Israel?
1. Because God Remembers We are Made of Dust
A. Dust signifies we had a beginning, and
B. Dust symbolizes our weakness (what can you do with dust?)
2. Because God Remembers His Friends
A. Abraham captured the heart of God
B. Jesus calls his disciples his friends
3. Because God’s Choices Are Not Forgotten
A. Israel was God’s Servant
B. The Messiah is God’s Servant
4. Because God’s People are Spiritually Challenged
A. Israel is deaf and blind
B. We Do Not See and Hear without God’s Help.
