All Authority Given to Jesus
All Authority Given to Jesus
And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.
And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
These are some of the most important words in the
Holy writ.
God’s word is inspired, meaning “God Breathed”
Straight from the mouth of God.
The inspired word teaches us not to add to or take away
from the word.
You shall not add to the word that I command you, nor take from it, that you may keep the commandments of the Lord your God that I command you.
Do not add to his words,
lest he rebuke you and you be found a liar.
I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: if anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book, and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God will take away his share in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are described in this book.
What ever we do in the church or in the name of the
church it must be by the authority of Jesus /Christ
But I want you to understand that the head of every man is Christ, the head of a wife is her husband, and the head of Christ is God.
And he put all things under his feet and gave him as head over all things to the church, which is his body, the fullness of him who fills all in all.
When we assembly it must be in the name of Jesus
When we worship it must be in the name of Jesus
When we sing it must be in the name of Jesus
when we pray it mus be in the name of Jesus
when we study it must be in the name of Jesus
when we gather around the Lord’s table must be in Jesus
