Negative about others: I love people, forgive others & not only hope the best for them but will help them see God’s plan for their life

Hebrews 4:12 ESV

Change our thoughts and our talk to align with God’s truth

God’s purpose for you is not that you

- would be overtaken by sin

knocked down by the weight that you carry

crippled by pain in your life

anxious

unforgiving

hurtful to others

short to your spouse

condescending to those not like you

If we aren’t careful we will begin to think that the power of our thoughts are our god & solution

BUT our trust and hope may be in the Lord

we begin by aligning ourselves with Him and we know that it says in

Isaiah 55:8–9 ESV

8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the Lord. 9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.

so this is the beginning process of aligning our minds with God’s mind

Romans 12:2 ESV

2 Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.

Romans 12:1 ESV

1 I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship.

His desire is that you would be

who has the faith this morning to boldly proclaim that they are ready to trust in the power of God to change their minds to align with God’s plan for them

and to stop feeding the enemy- the great destroyer- but to speak God’s truth until they believe it
