Prophesy Sets the Bible apart from any other book
Prophesy Sets the Bible apart from any other book
- No other book or collection of books can say that with 100% accuracy, it has prophesied the future.
- The Bible’s prophesies about the return of Jesus are consistent, accurate and were written thousands of years prior to his first coming and after his first coming.
- We can then rely on the prophesies of the Bible for His Second coming and know that they are accurate.
- Since the beginning, there has been a war for the hearts and lives of people.
- The war is still going and culminates after the Millennial reign of Jesus Christ. we know who wins.

Jesus Says to anticipate His quick return
Jesus Says to anticipate His quick return
The immanent return of Jesus Christ’s return.
It is going to happen
It is urgent news for us as we hold the gospel in our lives and hands to a world that is quickly running out of time to turn their lives to the Lord.
Revelation 1:3-8
Blessed is the one who reads aloud the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear the words of this prophecy and keep what is written in it, because the time is near.
:
“Don’t let your heart be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many rooms; if not, I would have told you. I am going away to prepare a place for you. If I go away and prepare a place for you, I will come again and take you to myself, so that where I am you may be also.
“Truly I tell you, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things take place. Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.
“Now concerning that day or hour no one knows—neither the angels in heaven nor the Son—but only the Father.
“Watch! Be alert! For you don’t know when the time is coming.
“It is like a man on a journey, who left his house, gave authority to his servants, gave each one his work, and commanded the doorkeeper to be alert. Therefore be alert, since you don’t know when the master of the house is coming—whether in the evening or at midnight or at the crowing of the rooster or early in the morning.

Acts 1:9-11
After he had said this, he was taken up as they were watching, and a cloud took him out of their sight. While he was going, they were gazing into heaven, and suddenly two men in white clothes stood by them. They said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking up into heaven? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come in the same way that you have seen him going into heaven.”
Dear friends, don’t overlook this one fact: With the Lord one day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years like one day. The Lord does not delay his promise, as some understand delay, but is patient with you, not wanting any to perish but all to come to repentance.
But the day of the Lord will come like a thief; on that day the heavens will pass away with a loud noise, the elements will burn and be dissolved, and the earth and the works on it will be disclosed. Since all these things are to be dissolved in this way, it is clear what sort of people you should be in holy conduct and godliness as you wait for the day of God and hasten its coming. Because of that day, the heavens will be dissolved with fire and the elements will melt with heat. But based on his promise, we wait for new heavens and a new earth, where righteousness dwells.
Therefore, dear friends, while you wait for these things, make every effort to be found without spot or blemish in his sight, at peace.
