With , we are walking on Familiar Ground. This is probably the most familiar verse in the Bible.
Martin Luther, one of the champions of the Christian Faith called it the little Bible. It is the favorite verse of children … and often quoted to dying people. The verse spoken to a good and religious man to explain salvation. It’s use to win Nicodemus, this ruler of the Jews, to Jesus. But what if this Great Verse were not True?

Scripture assures us that God so loved the world; But what if God had not Loved the World?
Without His love there would be no hope.
The earth would be a dark planet hurtling through space without hope.
There would be nothing to live for and no purpose for existence.
Every death would be the end of personal hope and every grave a place of despair.
This would be a world where prayers were nothing more than useless cries to the skies.
But God does love the world.
Everything in it speaks of His love.
Every sunrise speaks of His love.
Every blade of grass speaks of His love.
Every fountain of water speaks of His love.
Every birth speaks of His love.
The face of every child speaks of His love.
The greatest demonstration of His love is the cross.
But what if God had not given his Son?
His love would be frustrated without the cross.
You see, “Real love always demands giving”.

A man marries; then works, provides, cares for his family.
A woman marries and gives of herself for her family.
A man anticipates his death; so he provides with insurance.
God has given His Son, … and if He had not, there would be no salvation.
What if God’s Offer of Salvation were not to the “Who-so-evers”?
The who-so-evers is a wonderful word that embraces everyone collectively and yet touches each one individually..It is a word that reaches out even to you.
Suppose God had offered salvation only to the rich. Suppose God had offered salvation only to the healthy or educated.
But God calls all people, individually to trust Him.
What if God’s Offer were not Based on Faith Alone?
Faith Is a picture of men working, trying, dying.
Faith is a Picture men learning, earning, failing.
