The story began with compassion
Oh lord have compassion on me and my family

The Story began with healing
Dear Lord, touch me and heal me
24 He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed.

The Story began with the true Shepherd:
Lord be my tour guide in the new year and for the rest of my life, guide me into your perfect will, in all wisdom and spiritual understanding.
34 When he went ashore he saw a great crowd, and he had compassion on them, because they were like sheep without a shepherd. And he began to teach them many things.

The story began with a test:
5 Lifting up his eyes, then, and seeing that a large crowd was coming toward him, Jesus said to Philip, “Where are we to buy bread, so that these people may eat?” 6 He said this to test him, for he himself knew what he would do.
- whenever God asks you to do anything, it is just a test: He asked Abraham for an unusual sacrifice, but in the end, it was just a test, which ended in an unusual blessing.
- Whenever God asks you for something, He is up to something Big: “he knew what he himself was to do.”
in the Story of Abraham, before he could perform his sacrifice, there was a bull caught by the horn in the ticket.
He asked for tithe and offering, and before you finished offering your gift to the Lord, ‘He already opened the windows of heaven to pour you an overflowing blessing.’
15 Now when it was evening, the disciples came to him and said, “This is a desolate place, and the day is now over; send the crowds away to go into the villages and buy food for themselves.” 16 But Jesus said, “They need not go away; you give them something to eat.” 17 They said to him, “We have only five loaves here and two fish.” 18 And he said, “Bring them here to me.” 19 Then he ordered the crowds to sit down on the grass, and taking the five loaves and the two fish, he looked up to heaven and said a blessing. Then he broke the loaves and gave them to the disciples, and the disciples gave them to the crowds. 20 And they all ate and were satisfied. And they took up twelve baskets full of the broken pieces left over. 21 And those who ate were about five thousand men, besides women and children.

The disciples wanted them to go away and by resources for themselves:

most time we enter into a new year, vending for ourselves, but the new year will be different.
Jesus have a different opinion:
They need not go away, you give them something to eat.
Jesus took the responsibility for their sustenance, he became the provider, in making sure they were well taken care off.
you will not spend your own money in the new year, the Lord will be your provider.
