The finished and unfinished workJesus said it is finished. He fulfilled the law and restored us back to divine favor as well as the divine appointment, which was to be fruitful, multiply, replenish, subdue the earth and have dominion over every living thing.
Matthew 5:17 KJV 1900
Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
Genesis 1:28 KJV 1900
And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
Genesis 1:28 KJV 1900
And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
Genesis 1:28 KJV 1900
And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.

2 Timothy 4:7–8 KJV 1900
I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.
Acts 20:24 KJV 1900
But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.
KJV 1900Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
KJV 1900And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
Illustration - People starting but not finishing.
Unfinished bring opp for defaming the Lord.
People aren’t obedience driven so much as desire driven.
We aren’t trying to be something we already are and must learn to live up to our potential.
KJV 1900Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.
Ephesians 4:17–26 KJV 1900
This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind, Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart: Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness. But ye have not so learned Christ; If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus: That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness. Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another. Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:
