In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

Unlike the other gospels, John doesn’t start with the birth of Christ
Matthew starts with the lineage(b/vansha) - Son of Abraham
Mark jumps into the ministry - Son of Man
Luke starts with the birth - Son of Adam
John starts with creation - Son of God
John starts with the very beginning
The beginning of time
But he does talk about the beginning
We should remember this important thing
The birth of Christ was not the beginning of Jesus
Jesus is God
He has been from the beginning
The prophet Micah said this:
But thou, Beth-lehem Ephratah,
Though thou be little among the thousands of Judah,
Yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel;
Whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.
This is talking about Jesus
His existence(aastitwa) has been from the beginning of time
He has no beginning or end
Jesus is the source of all things
Jesus is the source of all things
Many people are seeking things
Money
Nice house
Vehicle or bike
Good job
The Bible says that my God has it all!
For every beast of the forest is mine,
And the cattle upon a thousand hills.
He is the source
He is the provider
But not just for physical things - All things
For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.

They will not provide for your needs
They will not make us satisfied(santushTa)
Only Jesus is enough!
Delight thyself also in the Lord;
And he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.
Jesus is the source of all things
Because Jesus is the source of all things
But more important than things...
Jesus is the source of Life
Jesus is the source of Life
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:
Then raised Lazarus from the dead(bauriutaaunubhayo)
From the dead
Many do not understand this
Mary didn’t truly understand
Martha didn’t truly understand
Their brother died
They blamed Jesus
They thought that after death, there was no hope
But they didn’t understand the power of Jesus
They didn’t understand that He was the source of life
Many people know that Jesus can heal(nico)
Repair life
But there is more
He is the giver(dastaavej) of life
The provider(pradaan-kartaa) of life
He is the source of life
You may say: “I have life.”
Why do I need life from Jesus
Jesus is the source of life
Because He is not only the source of physical life here on earth
But of spiritual, eternal life...
Jesus met the woman at the well
She gave him water from the well, but
He said, “I can give you living water”
Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water.
He is not just talking about physical water for physical life
Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again:
Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again: But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
Jesus is the source of eternal life!
Jesus is the source of all things,
But most importantly, he is the source of life
The source of
Eternal life in heaven

If you do not know Jesus, you can put your faith on him today
You can be saved
You can have life, true, eternal life
