ARE YOU WHEAT OR TARE?

Matthew 13:24–30 KJV 1900
24 Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field: 25 But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way. 26 But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also. 27 So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares? 28 He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up? 29 But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them. 30 Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.
Introduction: A church is like a seed you plant it and watch it grow. The problem is no matter how much effort you put in planting the seed, there’s alway a weed that grow in with your plant. This is what scares me, no matter how good you start off. Satan seems to always throw some weeds in the mix. Using this parable of Jesus Christ. I want to show you how Satan sews tares among the wheat.
They are normally not your drinking, smoking, cussing church member. A tare is sometimes your best church member. The problem is that you can’t recognize them from the wheat.
A tare will look like wheat, they are normally not your drinking, smoking, cussing church member. A tare is sometimes your best church member. The problem is that you can’t recognize them from the wheat.
Our Baptist Churches are full of tares! The Lord has used this sermon all over the country to help church members to examine themselves to see whether they are wheat or tare, whether they have been born again or just a Church member on there way to Hell.
THEY ARE SOWN TOGETHER.

g. You say, “I am a church member.” I didn’t ask you that.
h. A Church like Friendship Baptist, where truth is preached is where Satan does his greatest work.

3). If a born again Christian is stale he wins.
