Can You See It?_pt1: What Do You See?
See! - It’s not hidden, you just have to see it = VISION
New thing!
- Unlike what you already know!
God is always doing a new thing in your life!
He’s not taking you back to old things!
[HAVE YOU EVER] - Played the game: pin the tail on the donkey?
You are blind folded… All you have is...
Your disoriented recollection of where you are and where you are going
The shouts and influence of many others around you
[PAYOFF] - Don’t trust your understanding over His!
This is the “blind fold” in pin the tail on the donkey!
The blind fold is your own perspective, outside of God’s!
What do you see?
Sometimes the blind fo

Are you carrying it out as He sees it?
Or, as you see it?
[TRANSITION] - In another story - this time an encounter with Jesus - we see another man’s point of view...
This centurion believed that Jesus had command over sickness...
He even understood this, based on his own station or experiences in life...
[PAYOFF] - It’s not about tossing out your view, it’s allowing God to frame your view...
Your view of God determines what you will believe!
[TRANSITION] - Finally, concerning how we see God…
Thi
The Apostle Paul prays over us a prayer that reveals this truth here...
Your view of God determines how you see everything!
“What comes into our minds when we think about God is the most important thing about us.” - A.W. Tozer
Ephesians 1:15-
Your eyes must be opened to...
“know the hope to which he has called you...”
“know the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people…”
“know His incomparably great power for us who believe...”
Look to Him!
[PAYOFF] - Look to Him, church!
Don’t look on your own, with your own understanding!
We can’t possibly see this life correctly, on our own… in our own view...
There is something exciting ahead!
Keep your eyes on Him and you will get there!!
Look ahead!
[PAYOFF] - You will not and cannot see the vision without looking ahead, and looking to Him!
Look for what matters!
[PAYOFF] - Without prioritizing Him, you will change your vision and plan.
So, always seek Him first!
Look by His Spirit!
[PAYOFF] - Vision doesn’t come through your eye, but through His!! (His Spirit!)
Take Away
Don’t see life with just your own eyes, look to Him!
Can you see it, church???
