Climb The Mountain

CIT: God sent Abraham on a mission with one Goal in mind.

CIS: Abraham was all in for following Gods instruction.

SO: Kids will learn that the first step in following God is doing what he says.

Intro: KU lego…When you don’t have all the pieces it makes it pretty hard to put together.

SM - Have you ever been to the mountains? If you could build anything what would it be? Is it easy to do what your told?

We – are told to do a lot of things each and every day of our lives, but who do we trust? friends, teachers, parents, police officers, the people in this room.

T.S. - What if their was one thing you could always trust in? What you do what ever you were told?

Bible -

Genesis 22:3 NIV

3 Early the next morning Abraham got up and loaded his donkey. He took with him two of his servants and his son Isaac. When he had cut enough wood for the burnt offering, he set out for the place God had told him about.

When God says Go you go. That is all Abraham ever know. Do what God says. Know Abraham trusted in the right God and not all the other gods of the world. Did Abraham do everything right that we find in scripture? Not at all!

You – will find if you do what God says you will find your self doing the right thing every day of your life. The first step in following Christ is trusting him with everything in your own world.

We – must trust God with the littlest stuff and the biggest things in our lives. We will live a life that says, “God if you say climb that mountain my answer will be YES.”

PRAY - God teach me to trust you with every part of my life!
