How to Feed Faith

Once Beliefs have been formed, they must be continually fed and watered.
The root system of our beliefs must be developed properly so we don’t abandon them in times of difficulty.
We feed our beliefs on Two things:
The same Scriptures that formed them.
Lions and bears - God’s faithfulness to us in the past.
Some people abandon their beliefs in times of difficulty.
When we abandon our beliefs, we start to walk by sight and by fear.
Once our beliefs are obtained, they must be maintained and fed to establish them and fix them immovable.
We feed out beliefs the same Scriptures that formed them in the first place, and we feed them examples of God’s faithfulness in the past.
Remember:
Faith is the Foundation of our Religious Beliefs. Our Trust in God in his actions and promises.
I believe God uses Faith to restore us to our original existence (The Original Adam) to become the (New Adam that comes through the salvation of Jesus Christ)

Parable of the Sower
Luke 8:11–13 CSB
“This is the meaning of the parable: The seed is the word of God. The seed along the path are those who have heard and then the devil comes and takes away the word from their hearts, so that they may not believe and be saved. And the seed on the rock are those who, when they hear, receive the word with joy. Having no root, these believe for a while and fall away in a time of testing.

Have Heard - Faith comes from Hearing and Hearing the word of God
Romans 10:17 CSB
So faith comes from what is heard, and what is heard comes through the message about Christ.
Reflect on the time this was written. The "Word" was taught from the Rabbi ( Teacher) in the Synagogue. Today we study from the Bible to hear the word and from the Church.
The root system of your beliefs must be developed properly. The root system of a plant acts as an anchor. For many people, their roots have not developed a proper anchoring system within their lives, so in times of temptation they tip over and abandon what they believe. There's another verse that can help make this clear.

Note: Paul Planted, Apollos Taught God made Beliefs come true. (Faith)
When ministering to people who are going through difficult times, one of the best things we can do is to sit down and feed and water their beliefs so that they don't abandon them.
