Nehemiah 4:9-10
Nehemiah 4:9–10 KJV 1900
Nevertheless we made our prayer unto our God, and set a watch against them day and night, because of them. And Judah said, The strength of the bearers of burdens is decayed, and there is much rubbish; so that we are not able to build the wall.
Protect the work..
Easier to destroy than to build
A lifetime of work can be unravelled in a few careless decisions.
Examples -
Saul lost the kingdom because of disobedience
Moses didn’t go into the promised land
Remove the Rubble - It wore the laborers down
Potential is often there but it’s the baggage.
It’s not what you can do but what you can ignore.
Remember the Lord
Nehemiah 4:14 KJV 1900
And I looked, and rose up, and said unto the nobles, and to the rulers, and to the rest of the people, Be not ye afraid of them: remember the Lord, which is great and terrible, and fight for your brethren, your sons, and your daughters, your wives, and your houses.
Nehemiah 4:1
Your past testimony.
Nehemiah 2:18 KJV 1900
Then I told them of the hand of my God which was good upon me; as also the king’s words that he had spoken unto me. And they said, Let us rise up and build. So they strengthened their hands for this good work.
The people were prepared to fight but they realized the Lord was fighting for them.
The Lord went before David
The enemy you see today you will see no more -
When God is for you, who can be against you. -
Keep The Vision Before You
Nehemiah 4:14 KJV 1900
And I looked, and rose up, and said unto the nobles, and to the rulers, and to the rest of the people, Be not ye afraid of them: remember the Lord, which is great and terrible, and fight for your brethren, your sons, and your daughters, your wives, and your houses.
My people perish for a lack of vision -
