David was commited to bless the Lord at all times! He knew who God is and what God had done for Him! Psalm 145: 1-9
In fact it is believed that he penned this psalm after his escape from Abimelek ( ).
He tells us that he is doing this as a testimony to the Lord and as an encouragement to those who may be in affliction! So today as we come to give thanks to the lord we can all participate!
vs 3- He is asking all of us to join him to glorify the Lord and to exalt His name together!
If you know you are happy sing praises! If you are in trouble then pray but after the prayer you can also join us in singing songs of praise! ; .
That is what David did! vs 4-6; He sought the Lord, He answered him, and delivered him from all his fears!
when we seek the Lord we look to Him, and as we look to Him, we shall be radiant! he will never put you to shame!
This poor man called and the Lord Heard him and he saved him out of all his troubles! - ;
the angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him, and he delivers them!
he now urges us all to walk in the fear of the Lord vs 9. what does the fear of the Lord look like? vs 13-14
