2. How many things are necessary that you may live and die happily?

Three. The first, what is the greatness of my sin and misery (a). The second, how I am delivered from all sin and misery (b). The third, what thanks I owe to God for this delivery (c).

3. How Does Doubt Rob You of Your Joy?

When we are faced with a Life or Death situation, medical, financial, spiritual, relational, something that each one of us faces in life - there is a temptation to doubt God's sovereignty

Matt 11:1-19

When Jesus had finished instructing his twelve disciples, he went on from there to teach and preach in their cities. Now when John heard in prison about the deeds of the Christ, he sent word by his disciples and said to him, “Are you the one who is to come, or shall we look for another?” And Jesus answered them, “Go and tell John what you hear and see: the blind receive their sight and the lame walk, lepers are cleansed and the deaf hear, and the dead are raised up, and the poor have good news preached to them. 4. How Does Unrepentant Sin Play Into Your Well Being?

We become anxious when we have not spent time using the means of grace that the Lord has provided. Life is too busy and things are too hard to take time and confess our sins and seek His forgiveness. This makes things worse - not better!

1 John 1:8-10; Titus 3:5-7

1 John 1:8–10 ESV

If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

5. How Does Meditating on Your Relationship Keep Your Hope Alive?

Knowing that we are Sons and Daughters of the King - Adopted into His own family and that He keeps us - we don't keep Him!

Jesus answered them, “I told you, and you do not believe. The works that I do in my Father’s name bear witness about me, but you do not believe because you are not among my sheep. My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand. The Father loves the Son and has given all things into his hand. Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him.
