INTRODUCTION

Define vision as: a statement of purpose.

vision

■ noun

1 the faculty or state of being able to see.

2 the ability to think about or plan the future with imagination or wisdom.

▶ a mental image of what the future will or could be like.

3 an experience of seeing something in a dream or trance, or as a supernatural apparition.

4 a person or sight of unusual beauty.

Proverbs 29:18 AMP
18 Where there is no vision [no redemptive revelation of God], the people perish; but he who keeps the law [of God, which includes that of man]—blessed (happy, fortunate, and enviable) is he.
Proverbs 29:18 TPT
18 When there is no clear prophetic vision, people quickly wander astray. But when you follow the revelation of the word, heaven’s bliss fills your soul.

Purpose and intent is the key to revelation.

John 7:16–17 AMP
16 Jesus answered them by saying, My teaching is not My own, but His Who sent Me. 17 If any man desires to do His will (God’s pleasure), he will know (have the needed illumination to recognize, and can tell for himself) whether the teaching is from God or whether I am speaking from Myself and of My own accord and on My own authority.
John 7:16–17 TPT
16 So Jesus responded, “I don’t teach my own ideas, but the truth revealed to me by the One who sent me. 17 If you want to test my teachings and discover where I received them, first be passionate to do God’s will, and then you will be able to discern if my teachings are from the heart of God or from my own opinions.
Quiet time, daily devotional, daily Bible reading, are not Christian activities, they are Christianity.
Mark 11:22–24 TPT
22 Jesus replied, “Let the faith of God be in you! 23 Listen to the truth I speak to you: If someone says to this mountain with great faith and having no doubt, ‘Mountain, be lifted up and thrown into the midst of the sea,’ and believes that what he says will happen, it will be done. 24 This is the reason I urge you to boldly believe for whatever you ask for in prayer—believe that you have received it and it will be yours.
Jesus says the “Beware” often when teaching in the New Testament. The word is “Prosecho”

4336. προσεύχομαι prŏsĕuchŏmai, pros-yoo´-khom-ahee; from 4314 and 2172; to pray to God, i.e. supplicate, worship:—pray (× earnestly, for), make prayer.

Prosecho of what?

4668 προσέχω (prosechō): vb.; ≡ Str 4337—1. LN 27.59 be alert for, watch out, be on guard, beware (Mt 6:1); 2. LN 30.35 consider carefully, implying agreement (Ac 8:6); 3. LN 31.47 continue to believe, hold firmly to a belief (1Ti 1:4; 1Ti 6:3 v.r. NA26); 4. LN 68.19 continue to give oneself to, devote, apply oneself (Heb 7:13)

You can’t be late for no-where...
People often ask me; what should I do in this or that situation?
Tie in vision and purpose.
When you are in full agreement with God’s purpose for your life, ready to obey, not wavering to and fro, you can more easily discern what is the will of God
for your life.
The closest distance between 2 points is a straight line. The closest distance between a dream and the achievement of that dream is a clear vision (a statement of purpose).
The closest distance between a vision and
“Imagination is God’s gift for you to take a tour of your future, come back to the present, and make plans to go there.” Dr. Myles Munroe (The Pursuit of Vision)
