Observation
While travelling to Damascus to persecute God’s people, Saul is confronted by the truth.
Jesus appears to him and asks why He is persecuting Him.
Paul is humbled. He sees the truth, but he is blinded by this event. He goes to Damascus as Jesus commands him.
Ananias is told to go to Saul to heal him
He is healed and is baptized into Christ
Then he gets to work (20-22)
Interpretation
Damascus?
In Syria east of Tyre and Sidon
Why are you persecuting Me?
Fasting? Humbling yourself before God.
Although he is blind, he sees more clearly than he ever has.
Application
How we treat Jesus’ people is how we treat Him. How are we treating Jesus?
