Intro: Bring you up to date on where we are at;
Bring you up to date on where we are at;
The Church has exspanded from Jerusalem to Judea and Samaria.
People that were saved came to Antioch in Syria and gentile people were saved
A Church was established and the Church in Jerusalem sent Barnabas to help.
He then called Paul to help, I believe because he knew Paul was called to the gentiles.
Chapter 13 the Holy Spirit sent out Paul and Barnabas to take the Gospel to gentile world.
They sail to Cyprus an Island south west of Antioch home of Barnabus
They preached the Gospel there, ran into opposition with a sorcerer Elymas, over a the soul of Sergius Paulas.
The outcome was victory, the sorcerer was rebuked with blindness and Sergius Paulas was saved.
But out of this also I believe Paul and Barnabas became fearless in preaching the Gospel. Remember they were going to preach to the gentile world, who had heathen gods, an impossible task.

They had to sail north in the north in the Mediterranean sea
landed on the cost in Antalya
Then had to travel about seven miles to Perga
Pamphylia is the name of the district.
It is long and narrow (like a hot dog) district that runs along the cost line.
Pisidia is the district to the north.
Galatia is the whole region…

Paul, an apostle, (not of men, neither by man, but by Jesus Christ, and God the Father, who raised him from the dead;) And all the brethren which are with me, unto the churches of Galatia:
Galatians 1:1 KJV 1900
Paul, an apostle, (not of men, neither by man, but by Jesus Christ, and God the Father, who raised him from the dead;)
Galatians 1:1–12 KJV 1900
Paul, an apostle, (not of men, neither by man, but by Jesus Christ, and God the Father, who raised him from the dead;) And all the brethren which are with me, unto the churches of Galatia: Grace be to you and peace from God the Father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ, Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father: To whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen. I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed. For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ. But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man. For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.
