Application: Regardless of the circumstances. Jesus will set you free. Faith comes by hearing and hearing comes by the Word of God.
Romans 10:17 NKJV
17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
Stand in reading of the respect of Gods Word.
Mark 2:1–5 NKJV
1 And again He entered Capernaum after some days, and it was heard that He was in the house. 2 Immediately many gathered together, so that there was no longer room to receive them, not even near the door. And He preached the word to them. 3 Then they came to Him, bringing a paralytic who was carried by four men. 4 And when they could not come near Him because of the crowd, they uncovered the roof where He was. So when they had broken through, they let down the bed on which the paralytic was lying. 5 When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralytic, “Son, your sins are forgiven you.”
Note:
Jesus asked the Leper not to go tell but go straight to the temple. He told and many began searching for Jesus. He could provide healing that they desperately needed.
Mark 1:45 NKJV
45 However, he went out and began to proclaim it freely, and to spread the matter, so that Jesus could no longer openly enter the city, but was outside in deserted places; and they came to Him from every direction.
- came from everywhere seeking him
He came home and at the house ( possibilities of the home was Peter and Andrews)
The house was full. No one could get in. A jewish house would have been 2-4 rooms and a courtyard with access to the roof.
Mark 2:2 NKJV
2 Immediately many gathered together, so that there was no longer room to receive them, not even near the door. And He preached the word to them.
Mark 2:
Jesus was not putting on a show, but He wAs preaching the Word to them.

Isaiah 61:1 NKJV

Isaiah 61:1–3 NKJV
1 “The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me, Because the Lord has anointed Me To preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives, And the opening of the prison to those who are bound; 2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, And the day of vengeance of our God; To comfort all who mourn, 3 To console those who mourn in Zion, To give them beauty for ashes, The oil of joy for mourning, The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; That they may be called trees of righteousness, The planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.”
He was most assuredly preaching that God loves them, He created them, Sin had to be covered, They were sinners, they needed redeemed, and The Lamb of God was at hand.
