Theme: The Birth of Moses. Moses pictures to us a new Noah, a new comforter of God’s people, a new leader. When Moses is drawn out of the water he is prefigurating what will happen with the Israelites, he prefigures what happens to Jesus drawn out into life of the tomb and he prefigures what happens to us as the church, the church is drawn out of the world of Egypt and you are drawn out of your sin and into grace, into life. We are not only drawn out, we are also led out, Jesus is showing us every day how He gives us life, will you let Him lead you out?
