Eph 5:15-17. Dan Kroon. It’s easy to live life by accident, just going wherever the wind blows and the water flows – cruising along, as they say. But as disciples we’re called to live by decision, not default; determined, not unresolved; on purpose, not by accident. We’re called to be intentional. “Be very careful how you live,” Paul says, “not as unwise, but as wise.” Why? Because the days are full of evil and foolishness. How? By redeeming the time and seeking God’s will. In what? Everything we do. As we keep growing in our understanding of discipleship this year, we need to consider our resolve – to count the cost, to make the decisions, to live on purpose.
