Through Scripture believers are nurtured in faith and led to spiritual maturity.
This makes the Bible something worthwhile to study and makes its content important.
In addition to that gives us the necessary information to deal with the rising question of the validity of the Bible as the Word of God.

Holy scripture : set apart
Holy is a special word- we don’t use it as much it describes something or someone who is consecrated.
