Introduction
Introduction
Everyone who professes to believe in Jesus should be able to advance arguments for God’s existence.
If God does not exist, Christianity does not exist.
Jesus claimed to be a specific deity. If he’s right, then He is God. If he’s wrong, then, we need to search for God again.
Christianity hinges upon certain foundational and historical claims: virgin birth, resurrection, deity of Jesus.
In a recent survey, 65% of Millennial Christians said that “if you are a good person, you will go to heaven.”
When we think of defending the faith or being witnesses of Jesus Christ, what are we defending or of what are we witnesses? Who is Jesus? More than half of young adults, in a recent Pew survey, now believe that astrology is a science.
Jesus’ teaching about himself is: biblical (, Is.), historical (he claims exclusivity), universal (He is the only God there is), and personal (If you do not believe that I am).
