The Key to Success

Introduction

The journey for the people of Israel from Egypt to the promised land is now almost over. Moses has died and God is calling Joshua to assume leadership of the people of Israel and become the commander of the army of God.

God takes the time in his conversation to renew his promise to Joshua that he had made to Moses; that he would give Canaan to the people of Israel. He promises to Joshua his presence and his protection as they fought to take the land that they had waited 40 years to possess.

Then he highlighted the importance of the the law of God and encouraged him to make the law and intricate and important part of his journey.

So before the journey from the wilderness to the promised land can be fully embraced by the people of Israel God must first establish their new leader and lead him to the key to his success in his mission; to make much of the Word of God.

So let’s look at the beginning of this exciting journey for the people of Israel.
