Is strength always a positive? What if that strength is out of control? Would you like to ride a wild, unbroken stallion? Most would not! Strength under control is the definition of ‘meekness’ whereas strength out of control is extremely dangerous.
2 Peter 1:5-7 compels us to add to our faith, virtue, and knowledge the character of self-control. There is no better example of self-control exhibited in scripture than the story of Joseph.
