Samuel (12-13 years old)

Word of the Lord was rare

Yet he is speaking to Samuel

Telling him what he is going to do

he was called to be the prophet of Israel

John the Baptist (not even born)

The baby leaping could be seen as the first prophetic instance of John leading the way for Jesus

Mary (12-14 years old)

The Lord is with you (vs. 28)

As a 14/15 year old girl, she had the responsibility of raising the Son of God

Can you imagine the pressure that would come with that?

David (16 years old)

Explain anointing backdrop before reading

It is believed that David was around 16 years old at this time

He goes on in the next chapter to defeat Goliath

Application

The Gospel being preached from your mouth, has just as much power as anyone.

Never despise or limit what God can do with and through you even at your age now.

Your age does not dictate you usability and spirituality

Pray like you know you are making an impact

Serve like you know you are making a difference

Share the gospel like you know there is power in it

Read the Word of God like you know it is a living revelation

Worship like God deserves all of you
