A Yielded Witness
Philip the evangelist was an effective witness because he was fully yielded to the Holy Spirit. As a result, outsiders and blemished alike would receive the Christ he preached.

Refuse to judge or make assumptions about your audience.
The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the power of God unto salvation. - v. 29-35

Know the Scriptures. Preach Jesus. Trust the Holy Spirit.
Some plant, some water, but salvation is of the Lord. - v. 36-38

Yield to the Holy Spirit, rely on the message of Jesus Christ, and rejoice when He brings forth the increase.
Examine your life for continual spiritual growth and leading. - v. 39-40
For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication: 4 That every one of you should know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honour;
And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.
