- you can get to know a lot about a person when u read a book (especially an auto-biography)
- but u can never get to know a person

btwn knowing about some1 & KNOWING some1!
-This 1 distinction makes all the difference in the world!

1. Paul just outlined the Gospel & his calling as a proclaimer o that Gospel
i. What’s the Gospel?
2. then says, this is why I suffer as I do.
i. suffering for telling people about the hope he has in Jesus

He was suffering in that moment & lived a life o suffering

-did u know that something like 80% o teens stop going 2 church after graduation…what happens?
while in high school, they go to youth group, go on cool trips, enjoy upbeat music, even go on missions trips, but then they stop having real encounters w/God…or never had any to begin w/.
