From Guestbook:
My dear friend Lois the person who cut out all the cat coupons in a very orderly manner, who made the best mini chocolate pumpkin brownies when you needed a small bite of something sweet to eat and delivered them over the backyard fence when they were still warm......... I will miss you You were a very good friend who would do anything for me along with your husband John who was always at your side. We had many good laughs and I know that you're in a better place probably fixing goodies for theAngels! May God give you the peace and good health that you so deserve and someday I will meet you to go for a long slow walk in heaven and the two of us will be able to zip right along with out canes or walkers and enjoy the perfectness of Jesus's world ! Rest in peace!!

What is the passage saying?
What is the passage saying?
v. 34 - 35 God is no respecter of persons
v. 36 - 43:
(1) God sent word unto the children of Israel by Jesus Christ: peace (v. 36)
What word?
(2) God anointed Jesus Christ with the Holy Ghost (v. 38) - evidence that God was with him
(3) God raised Jesus Christ up from the dead and shewed him openly (v. 39 - 40)
(4) God ordained Jesus Christ to be the Judge of the living and the dead (v. 42)
Why is the passage saying this?
Why is the passage saying this?
The Holy Spirit is taking the message of Jesus Christ to other nations.
What are the points of application?
What are the points of application?
It is possible to believe in the existence of the God of the Bible and still not be born again. You must believe upon Jesus Christ, regardless of how good you are.
God demands complete faith in Jesus Christ, and we know this by all that God did with Jesus Christ. This means you cannot have one ounce of faith in your own goodness.
The death/resurrection of Christ is the basis for knowing for sure that God has determined that Jesus is the Judge that will execute judgment.
Concluding thoughts:
Concluding thoughts:
The Lord saves people out of religion just as much as he does out of irreligion.
God-fearing people must still receive Jesus Christ.
The devils believe and tremble.
