· 23 viewsThis is the start of a new series after I came back from a long leave of 9 weeks. It tend to align with the focus for this year is equipped to serve. And this is the first in the series to remind us that God made us and he knows everything about ourselves. He care for us more than we can imagine. He died for his enemies. We care called to praise him, for we are made for a special purpose, we are called to love him, for he loves us, he always thinks about us and his hand always protects us. He cares for us and he sent his son to die for us. We are called to follow God as we are made in his image, we are to love what he loves, hates what he hates, and to do what he does. That is to serve him. Not following idols. May God search our hearts and help us to praise him, to love him and to follow him.

1. Introduction
耶和華的全知和眷顧
1 耶和華啊，你已經鑒察我，
認識我。
2 我坐下，我起來，你都曉得；
你從遠處知道我的意念。
3 我行路，我躺臥，你都細察； (familiar)
你也深知我一切所行的。
4 耶和華啊，我舌頭上的話，
你沒有一句不知道的。
5 你前後環繞我，
按手在我身上。
6 這樣的知識奇妙，是我不能測的；
至高，是我不能及的。
7 我往哪裏去，躲避你的靈？
我往哪裏逃，躲避你的面？
8 我若升到天上，你在那裏；
我若躺在陰間，你也在那裏。
9 我若展開清晨的翅膀，
飛到海極居住，

我們11月底去澳洲中部地區派了一些聖誕禮物給中部的農民，然後我們回到香港 探家人，主要是主席我侄女的婚禮，然後我太太的侄女也生了小孩，我們去接她出院，又cherry 的姐姐要入院做手術，我們也可以陪她，我回去的時候，正好是和家人冬至，和慶祝聖誕節，也慶祝了cherry的媽媽的80歲大壽，所以上帝的安排非常好，讓我們很短時間裏面做了很多事。
22 我恨惡他們到極點，
以他們為我的仇敵。
23 上帝啊，求你鑒察我，知道我的心思，
試煉我，知道我的意念；
24 看在我裏面有甚麼惡行沒有，

最近聽到了一個弟兄嘅消息
1. Introduction
都幾恐怖
他有一天收到從香港打過來的電話
說他的銀行戶口可能被人盜用
要他試試login 試試有沒有問題
他就叫他去電腦登入
但登入的時候，他發覺沒有問題，可已成功登入
然後他就
但過了一陣他再登入的時候就發覺有一大筆款項不見了。
原來那些不法分子，預先已經監控着他的電腦
當他按電話的指示登入的時候已經掌握了他的密碼。
就這樣這個弟兄就被盜了一筆金錢，然後還要返香港處理事情。
所以，我們都不想其他人知道我們太多。
因爲如果他們知道太多，他們就有可能會傷害我們。

Privacy
當我們知道有人知道我們的祕密的時候
we don’t want people to know too much about us

其實是很恐怖的。
我們需要私隱
我們也有很多的東西不想人知道,
有時候是我們要保護自己。
if they know everything about me
有時候是我們害怕自己醜惡嘅一面被人知道了。
Because we need to protect ourselves.

我們怕讓人知道我們的真相的時候

From hong kong and then he answered the phone

因爲怕失去他們的愛。
And he know his account information and draw out all the money
So we don’t want people to know us too well
We want privacy
We want to keep secret
當人知道我們的弱點的時候，他們可能會取笑我們或是會傷害傷害我們。
They might not love us…
Because we need to protect ourselves.
Because having someone know you all the way is threatening
但另一方面,我們也不想別人去忽略（lue）我們
When they know how bad we are
They might not love us…
They know my weak points they exploit us and may harm us.
So being known about myself is threatening.
Ignorance is the most difficult thing you can experience on earth…
But on the other hand
People don’t want them to ignore us

Indifference is the opposite of love.
如果有人來到教會

就好是無人會關心我究竟系唔系度
他們不會在這裏留很久

no one greet them… seemingly dont care whether i am here or not
作爲一個牧師，我會嘗試去和每一個人去打招呼，我自己也給人投訴（su）過幾次我沒有跟他們打招呼。
有些人也沒有同我打招呼，我知道那是一個很難受的。
We want people to know us
As a pastor, I try to greet everyone but not everyone is willing to greet me. It is a hard feeling.

我們想其他人認識我們，
知道我們的好處，知道我們怎麼好，因爲我們都想其他人喜歡我們，愛我們。
We want people to know us
To know our good things
To know how good we are
所以我們很多人喜歡放東西上網。facebook， instagarm
我們放的都是好的東西。
但我們不會放我們不好的東西。
We want people to know us
我們不會放我們發怒的時候的樣子，不會發我們犯罪的時候的樣子。
所以我們只想其他人看我們好的一面，不好的一面，幽暗的一面我們不想其他人知道。
所以一方面我們不想其他人認識我們，因爲被人知道我們會可能會失去愛。 但我們也想人認識我們，是因爲我們想得到別人的愛。

So that we can be loved, we can be liked.
That’s why people put so many things on the face book, Instagram.

But we don’t want to post up our dirty intentions, our failures…
We just want to be known that we are good but only to that extent.

大衛寫這段經文，是因爲他經歷了神是一個完全認識他的神。

耶和華啊，你已經鑒察我，
認識我。
We want post up our dirty intentions, our failures…
We just want to be known that we are good but only to that extent.

In today’s scripture…
In first verse, he says you have searched over me. 你已經鑑察我。It means to investigate; like Joshua and Caleb went to the promised land to be spy。
David wrote this psalm because he has experienced God as someone who know everything about him.
他知道我的一切。
就好像我們經過MRI 磁力共振一樣。知道我們的一切。但神是比最先進的磁力共振更仔細。

Verse says God knows David’s thoughts, when he sit down and when he get up. He know about his thoughts.

如果你知道, 如此清楚，如此透徹（touche）有人這樣認識你， 你會覺得怎樣？

試想想你的facebook instagram 顯示每一句你所說的話，每一你所做的事情，每一個你有的思想：你發脾氣的樣子，你講粗口（cu）的樣子。
這是挺恐怖的。

He is being surrounded.
WE might be more clear about the picture when we usually see the movies. Police came and he announced you are totally being surrounded by police and flying tiger are coming down from the ceiling.

Do you feel that the author is just like being suffocated…

Verse 7 says I where can I go to escape from you… where can I escape. The word flee reminds me of Jonah … it is said in Jonah one same verb is used. HE cannot escape from God. God asked him to go to Niniveh to share the gospel but he did not he tried to other side but then in the middle there was typhoon and he was forced to repent and at the end he went.

He can’t escape from him.
But how did David deal with the presence of this all knowing, all present God?

When someone is pointing a knife towards you. You have two reactions. You maybe very frightened because you are afraid he would kill you. But there is also another response that you will be resting. If that one is the surgeon. Some one who come to take away things in your life. (need polishing).
It is the same. Because the God David experienced is a God who cares for him. They are everywhere

David said darkness may hid me … God may not be there when I was in darkness, when I am suffering, danger, with the possibility of death, terrible disease, times of absolute terror. When you say I am lost! But even there you can’t get rid of a god who is always there. Who is holding your hand.

God’s presence in David’s darkness is not a threat. God will not lose me in the darkness. He is holding my hand. For God, darkness is light. So I am safe. He has me by the hand, and even my darkness will turn to light.
God is the one who created David
我要稱謝你，因我受造奇妙可畏，

He said in verse 14.
I am fearfully and wonderfully made.
When he look at himself

He know from the earliest day he care for us

Do you know what is embroding
it need a lot of patience
it takes one by one
it takes a lot of care
in the process you don’t know
but at the end when you see the final product you will be amazed
God is working in our lives
he is carefully, step by step moulding us to be someone that he wants us to be

He know us even when we are in mother’s womb

When he has not come out from mother’s womb, he has already written down in his book.
He is so powerful, his deeds are so miraculous. Not only that

Verse 17 tells us that his thoughts is precious to David
It is the thoughts towards David
They are precious…
Because they are good for David
God’s thought is like a father has passion on children .
God not only made us, not only know everything about us, he thinks about us.
He cares for us.

我睡醒的時候，仍和你同在。
And verse 18 says his thoughts towards us are so much.
It is more than sand.
How much do you think about your loved ones?
In a day how many thoughts for your loved ones?
Please see here my whatsapp… I loved her very much and she loved me very much too. But our thoughts are scare. We can count them.
But the thinking of God towards us is so much just like the sand.
In each and everything we does, he knows, he cares, and he thinks about us. He wants to speak us and guide us.
How wonderful we have a God who loves us so much.
David knows this and his response is to praise God. verse 14.

耶和華啊，恨惡你的，我豈不恨惡他們嗎？

我恨惡他們到極點，
以他們為我的仇敵。
But then in verse 19-22
David said something against God’s enemy.
He hated them to the very end.
He prayed that God will kill them.
But we Christians are not supposed to
We are told to love our enemies.
What happened in between?
You know what happened.
Because
Jesus son of God
He came and prayed for his enemies
He died for his enemies
He was abandoned on the cross 他在十字架上被遺棄（yiqi）
God let go his hand on that midday （神在那天下午放開了他的手）
And light turned to darkness for him. （遍地biandi）都黑暗了
Why did Jesus get the absence of God? 爲何上帝離開耶穌？
Why did Jesus lose the Father’s hand? 爲什麼上帝離開他？
Why did Jesus lose the Father’s hand?
He was getting what we deserve. 耶穌就是承受了我們應該承受的。
We try to get away 我們想離開神。
We try to live our own lives 我們想過自己控制自己的生活。
We try to not be controlled by God 我們不想被神控制
That’s wrong 這樣是錯誤的。
WE deserved to be abandoned 我們值得被神遺棄的
But Jesus was abandoned on the cross 但耶穌在十字（zi）架上被遺棄。
He was separated from God so that we can be with God forever. 他和上帝分開爲了使我們永遠和上帝在一起。
He ‘s got you by the hand. 因爲耶穌，上帝可以抓（zhua）住你的手。
He will never let you go. 他永遠不會放棄
His hand will hold you forever 他的手永遠都要抓住你。
But we do not always feel it. 但有時我們感覺不到
Things are getting terribly wrong. 有時事情變得非常糟糕（zaogao）這是神要將你帶回他的身邊。
我們教會一直都有幫助社區裏面一些有需要的人。我們對真正有需要的人， 我們會幫助他們， 幫他們付些賬單，給他們一些食物。
前幾天有一位大概五十多歲（sui）的女士來到我們教會
我對他有些印象。我問她我以前好像見過你？
原來她十個月前來過。
十個月前，她是很絕望的。
她無辦法俾他的租金。
神體很差
人好憂愁
給丈夫欺負
離了婚，自己一個人住。
自己身體有很大問題。
子女身體
很絕望。
無人願意幫他。
來到我們教會
我見他。我就動了慈心。
I remembered she came ten months ago
我問他是否認識神。
她和我說世界上沒有神。
出奇意外
原來她少的時候是個基督徒。
從小到教會
也出席主日學
甚至教主日學
交十分之一
但後來的遭遇
她的婚姻，他的病。
was a christian when she was a kid
她的財務，讓她不再相信有上帝。
paid tithes
我見他，我就和她要回到上帝身邊。
要再次尋找他。我與他一起禱告。
十個月之後，上星期
她變得精神活潑
divorce
diesease
也很開朗
她跟我說上次見面之後
he got into financial trouble...
她認真的面對神
將自己的處境
交給神。在他面前悔改。
奇妙的是她之前用很多方法都無辦法減輕重量。
But ten months later
身體也減輕了。
雖然她仍然需要幫忙, 但他已經改善很多。
But ten months later
she is much slimmer,
但我最開心的是見到他再次回到上帝那裏
she told me that she prayed....
再次叫他做父親！
But the action of God is still there
神在我們的黑暗當中
在我們的問題當中，他仍然與我們同在。
他仍然在抓住你的手。
對你來說，你的周圍可能是黑暗
His presence is in the midst of your problems.
可能你已經迷失
He is still holding your hand.
但對上帝來說，
黑暗和光明都是一樣
他不會離開我們
他不會我們的手
他會引導（dao2）你
如果你相信耶穌基督
如果你將你的生命交託他，
如果你已經接受他成爲
哪位已經替你承受了你應受的刑罰的那一位，
神不再是你的仇敵。
神不會殺你。
但神是會握住（wozhu）你的手
But to him, it is light
It seems darkness for you
It seems you are lost
But to him, it is light
He can show you
He can lead you.
If you believe in Jesus.
If you gave your life in Jesus, if you accepted him as someone who has get what we deserved and give us this life of everlasting life. God is no longer your enemy.
God would not kill you.
然後你會明白。
你有一個真正的肯定
這個世界沒有任何一樣野可以使你與上帝的愛隔絕。
然後你會和大衛一樣做同樣的禱告
Then you understand
就好似你在一個很高明的醫生面前讓他做手術
你會禱告！
You have the same assurance
神呀！ 鑑察我！（jiancha）

Search me Lord!
investigate in me to see if there are any idols...
Have we taken other things to be idol?
Lead me to the road everlasting.
1. He knows us more than we know ourselves
