intro: you can’t handle the truth
just as spoken in the 1992 hit movie (A Few Good Men) the truth is sometimes hard to handle, it can be abrasive and overwhelming, the truth can punch you in the gut and leave you breathless, the truth cuts like knife and can leave scars.
Oh but the truth can shine a light on darkness, it can break chains of bondage, the truth can lighten burdens and break yokes the truth can set you free.
in our call to proclaim the gospel we should realize we have been given the keys to the kingdom and with great humility we offer the greatest opportunity even presented before mankind.
The opportunity of everlasting salvation the opportunity to except Jesus Christ as lord and savior .
in that is the rub for most in order to want salvation we must show them the need and in revealing truth we can be judgmental, condescending, hurtful, prideful, and sometimes self serving.
we have heard the call of christ to love one another but sometime we dont know what that looks like, for this i suggest that we take a look at the author and finisher of our faith Jesus Christ for the answer.
In this text it simply says
Jesus was full of not only truth, but grace and truth sometimes we forget the grace part.

Grace.
One of the distinctive features of the religion of the Bible.
No other system of religious thought, past or present, contains an emphasis on divine grace comparable to that of the Bible.
As a general definition, the doctrine of grace pertains to God’s activity rather than to his nature.
Although God is gracious, this trait of his nature is revealed only in relation to his created works and to his redemptive enterprise.
In other words, grace is to be understood in terms of a dynamic expression of the divine personality rather than as a static attribute of God’s nature.
